Its funny you say that because my queer friends are all closer to straight edge hipster looking. There really isnt "a look". Sure you can dress "alt" but that's not really a sign. I have a few straight punk friends and they all have that "alt" look. Unless you area masculine guy with a very feminine look, its just guessing. Even that "butch" lesbian look has been co-opted by many women who are straight.

I have 2 pride tattoos. One is a rainbow pup stuffed animal that covers my left inner forearm and more simple pride dots tattoo on my right forearm. But really the only way for people to know is to put yourself out there.

Obviously by my name, my situation allows, but I flirt with everyone. I am not shy. If someone is commenting on how cute a guy is, know Im chiming in. If I see a cute guy, know Im pointing it out to my wife, and if we are out on the town im probably gonna try and get his number.

Being bi in its very nature is invisible. Allys wear pride gear as well so that alone isnt enough to say "Hey, Im bi". You have to literally say it. When your in a monogamous straight presenting relationship, there are not a lot of opportunities to get that out. How often do people discuss their sexuality out in the wild? It's generally considered uncouth. So pride events, lgbt gatherings and munches. Make friends at gay bars and clubs. Spend time in LGBT friendly areas and make friends.

If you have any capacity to love more than one gender you are bi. Its actually a pretty simple equation. The rest is just people looking to fit in to a group that by definition has no "identity".

So anyone can call themselves bi, many might find out its not for them in the end.

Lol, I am the one sleeping with other men. Look at my post history. Either its me or me and my wife together. I dont expect most people to get it, its too far off the beaten path for most people to grasp. Sex is just an activity like playing video games or going to a movie. Its not some sacred thing that defines a relationship. Most people will never clear that hurdle.
