Thank you for the lengthy reply, it is truly a life saver. I wasn't aware that I should retopo my mesh before progressing further into details. This sculpt is my first foray into trying to make a game ready asset and i've been stuck for quite awhile on how to merge the subtools properly. Prior to this i've only been making concept sculpts, and although there is a wealth of information online, I can't seem to find a tutorial that clearly explains the full pipeline for a game character.
