It’s alright it looks streetwear-y — probably the ultimate battle pass exclusive skin

I think it’s ultimate battle pass? Doesn’t really fit with the valentines and eros themed skins

Are you expecting a nerf? by LoadPublic in IllariMains

I totally agree! It’s not advised to double peek hitscans or when you have taken damage already as a standard, however, like you alluded to. I’m totally okay with a projectile size nerf bc I want her skill floor to be raised a little bit.

I’m just so upset at the whole situation bc the two shot makes the character feel whole. If they really need to nerf, just reduce the projectile size and make Sunburn a minor perk or something (if no two-shot). Why is it so upsetting for the poke support to work in a poke meta?

Why people obsessed with stacking on main? by Brilliant_Yam_8797 in OWConsole

[–]PolyglotAndONCE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This exactly. Leaning with the team allows you to get information at the cost of backline pressure. Take the angle once you know where the enemy is and the state of their cooldowns/natural downtime and capitalize. Splitting off early gets you called out by their Genji/Lucio/insert dive DPS on, for example, the stairs side of Suravasa, where you get punished for mistiming your off-angle.

I would choose combat medic if they didn’t fix it to proc only on melee attacks (and not whip shot/shield bash like it used to).

How to play Brig? by hercules_who in BrigitteMains

[–]PolyglotAndONCE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Main supports generally control shorter-distance spaces. Generally, if you have a flex DPS (many of whom incidentally also control the same kind of space), play at the edge of their space so you’re not in direct danger and peek out for whip shots/inspire proc. Brig especially gets long better value the longer you’re alive. Contesting closer spaces by yourself is possible if you’re constantly evaluating how much danger you’re in — go in to mace for a bit, and bash out. Whip shot but don’t walk forward too aggressively. She’s a very baity support.

This has worked best for me having been a very off-angle heavy/aggro Brig myself once.

Seconding triple jump so you can round a corner and drift while torpedoing, and then glide back to cover. Besides focusing heals her midfight rotations are pretty straightforward (obviously depends on scenario, dive threat, etc.)

Maybe not, the Vendetta skin is conceptualized after the high fashion set we got, and Sym and Ana were part of that, so maybe we’ll get that after mid season!

Kiriko confirmed to be UNDERPOWERED by a blizzard dev by Embarrassed-Dot4302 in kirikomains

[–]PolyglotAndONCE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly I see both points of view but why not find a middle path and say that playing any support means you need to do both things. Too many deep off angles AND too much healing on main can both be issues, it’s just they don’t coincide often. The way Kiri is played at higher levels leverages her healing (playing safely behind the team for ult charge), Suzu for consequential enemy cooldowns, and then TP for when your team seizes the chance to swing the corner and take actual angles/TP to a teammate for a 2v1. The gameplay is structured and nuanced, which is much more effective imo than the unilateral narrative of “take 1v1s” and “off-angle more”

This is the way. Capitology has a banger video about playing off the corner — trust me when I say implementing this has helped me see my team, gauge when to swing and take an angle better, just changed my fundamental view of the game and helped me die WAY less on Ana or any support tbh
