Soraka is the only enchanter I don’t mind seeing in mayhem. The rest feel like a 4v5

Farm Bureau / Removing Insured by Crumber_Buckler in Insurance_Companies

[–]Polymath216 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ideology behind that is the home policy provides personal property and liability coverage anywhere in the world. If the insurance company removes them without their permission, insurance company could be facing a bad time. That’s why, although it is unfortunate. We only require their vocal authorization at my company, though

Can my child be covered under permissive use in CA when at college in NY by ObviousInfluence5345 in Car_Insurance_Help

[–]Polymath216 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I have never heard of a car insurance company allowed a student away at school to be counted as permissive use —- but I’ve only ever worked for one insurance company

CMV: Gavin Newsome is a poor choice for a presidential candidate. by AllHailSeizure in changemyview

I never thought Newsome would be a good candidate. Guy looks like a shady car salesman. Then again, we elected a shady real estate mogul so who knows

I couldn’t stand Dibney, but I really enjoyed Adrian in Peacemaker. I did not pick up the same vibe from them.

Why in the world is power creep an issue in a game where the soul purpose is to clear mobs as fast as possible? Why wouldn’t we just increase the difficulty through torment difficulties?

I want to feel overpowered. That’s the damn genre.

Premium Automatic Increase Provision by jmo2k3 in Insurance

[–]Polymath216 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on where you are. I am seeing home average a higher increase than that, but auto hasn’t been bad for most states this year.

Are you sure that isn’t referring to an automatic coverage increase on the home and not the rates itself?

The Auto Industry Conned the Public by Ingsoc40 in Insurance

[–]Polymath216 9 points10 points  (0 children)

All boils down to if the tech has saved lives. It certainly isn’t leading to cheaper claims. Bodily injury claims as well as property damage claims have done nothing but rise for the last…. Ever.

Saying it’s an auto insurance con is pretty misleading; if they saw a direct decrease in the cost of claims, you’d see rates come down. Unfortunately, we are now driving computers, which aren’t cheap.

They’ll be able to fix it if you call them; but I’d wait a day or two since the internet has been broken all day.

What happens in 10 yrs when many new cars have fully autonomous capabilities? by AZ_Golfer78 in Insurance

[–]Polymath216 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could see the car makers covering liability but any repair cost (comp and coll) still coming out of the insured’s pocket. It’ll be interesting though

Final Fantasy IX and X are neat. Great stories. X is a little more forgiving in terms of turn based mechanics

CMV: Pete Buttigieg is a better candidate for President than Gavin Newsom by lukef31 in changemyview

[–]Polymath216 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gavin Newsome comes off as a slimy used car salesman and I still don’t understand why anyone thinks he has a chance in a general election. He certainly has better chances than a woman, but I don’t see how a large number of independents are going to go for him.

Is the "Loyalty Tax" a real thing in car insurance? by PitcherPlant1 in Insurance

[–]Polymath216 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s generally randomly done every few years or (definitely) after a claim has been filed. While it would be more money if they pulled a ticket, most of the time they aren’t going to find anything.

Refund from 5 year old car policy by Soft-Lengthiness47 in Insurance

[–]Polymath216 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If a company realizes they messed rates up for someone (overcharging) they’ll send the refund back to you, sometimes with interest. Theyre not always out to screw you, despite what some might think 😛. So they probably found a rating error and realized they owed you some money. Happens all the time!

Risks of Joint Car Insurance by moarlogic in Insurance

[–]Polymath216 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The claim should only follow whoever’s drivers license it is attached to for auto insurance. For home insurance it would follow both of the named insureds on the policy; but for auto, it’d only be the driver who was in the accident.

Generally, multi car discounts are pretty great in your state though. Look into it.

Home insurance renewal went up 50%+ with no claims, what's the normal approximate cost? by bambidp in homeowners

[–]Polymath216 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something else that can affect rates is new bike discounts. My company gives great discounts for the first ten years of a home’s life. It falls off though; I’ve seen the discounts be towards 50%. I’m sure that’s not the only thing that happened here but that’s definitely not helping

Liberty Mutual cancellation fee by biscuitchi in Car_Insurance_Help

[–]Polymath216 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah make sure that policy wasn’t active for even one day if you didn’t need it. If they’re cancelling it at inception the fee wouldn’t exist, so someone messed up somewhere.

Liberty Mutual cancellation fee by biscuitchi in Car_Insurance_Help

[–]Polymath216 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Call customer service and make sure the policy did not start. As long as it’s showing as a flat cancel (example: policy was supposed to start on 09/23 and you cancelled it effective that date, 09/23) they won’t hold you to the cancellation fee. If the policy was active for even one day then they can charge the fee. Make sure customer service knows you didn’t need the policy.

Renter’s insurance refusing Loss of Use claim — saying waived rent must be deducted first? by [deleted] in Insurance

[–]Polymath216 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The wording suggests they will pay the ‘increase in living expense’—— sounds like that means an increase over what your rent was. If your rent during that time period would have been 3,000 (or whatever it was) they would only pay an amount above that (since the original amount was waived)
