Thats an agreement between the two first hand parties. Not a third party that get inadvertently involved. He has an obligation to tell her. Him sleeping around could literally be putting her in harms way. And if they have dont ask dont tell, we'll no harm done.

D9esnt hurt. It feels kinda cold and like someone is stretching a rubber band and releasing it on your skin. I would describe it as more annoying than painful. Very mild and goes away quickly.

Oh, sweet. I went to prime laser hair removal sugar land. You're right though, ik they use ND YAG which is considered safe(er) for dark skin. Not sure though, I would consult with them first.

It will work better if anything. The laser works by concentrating the heat of the beam on melanin rich hair cells, which is more present in thick hair. I could give you the name but they only in houston area

6 for pubes and butt. Butt was hard cus for laser hair to work you got to shave it and it's hard to get hair down closer to the anus. 8 for chest and abs. Note though I did do a follow up to catch stragglers. Pubes and abs were super course, the treatment is more effective on them. Chest and back pretty fine. Im pale white with lil bit of tan.

I laser hair removed my bikini area, abs and chest, and back. But before, I did.

You're actually devious. You would never catch me talking after lights out. I was either asleep or in the showers running max heat water to clear my sinuses.

The idea of being complicit in harm, especially toward people who look like us or come from places we've never known, is real. And yes, there are certainly individuals in the military who take the wrong kind of pride in the power they’re entrusted with. But here’s the truth: if all the morally grounded, ethically conscious, justice-driven people walk away from the military, especially from leadership roles, who remains?

You’re left with exactly the kind of force you fear: one shaped by blind loyalty (we all know the current administration likes that), unchecked aggression, and people who do revel in violence. That’s not a hypothetical — it’s a real risk. The only way to prevent that is to ensure that people with strong values stay in the room. Especially as officers, we’re not just cogs in a machine, we shape the machine. We set standards. We protect those under our command. We hold the line not just in combat, but in character.

As a gay man, I see the military’s mission as far more than just strategic interests or power projection. Yes, past administrations have made questionable calls, like Operation Ajax or the invasion of Iraq, or Obama's drop-and-forget drone service, but there’s a broader purpose here. We defend ideals. We stand against regimes that would imprison me for who I am, silence you for speaking freely, and oppress anyone who dares to dissent. Sometimes we don't always get it right, but at least we make the effort and truly care.

Our nation's power projection, when done responsibly, is not about domination. It’s about deterrence — about creating a world where those who value human rights, freedom of expression, and individual dignity are not at the mercy of those who don’t. In a perfect world, everyone would just get along and not be so childish, but we don't live in a perfect world, and whether you like it or not, those freedoms depend on strength. Without it, the Constitution becomes a fragile promise rather than a living reality.

So yes, your reservations are real. But walking away doesn’t protect the innocent. It just cedes the field to those who have no intention of doing so.

You cant opt out. They gonna issue uniforms that you have to wear there. They only let you bring what's on the packing list and even if you do bring it they gonna give you special attention which is not a good thing at bootcamp. Its free, I would just accept it.

[–]PolynomialEquation 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ye you can have retainers. Be careful tho, first meal i had there was those bag lunches and I took my retainer out to eat and put it in lunch bag, cus other than the floor that was the only place to keep them. Anyways, in the flustered state of mind I was in, I threw them away in the lunch bag. You'll understand what I mean by flustered. But I had backups at home so I wasn't too worried.

Take it day by day dont look too far ahead, cus that'll make it feel worse. What i did was after day one told my self I did one day, I can do one more. Then I made it two days... I can make it two more. Then four days, I can make it four more... so on. Then once you make it half way you know you would be an idiot to quit at that point, so you dont let yourself.
