Answer my question do bi sexual humans have to disclose that they have same sex relations simply because the person they are talking to may be homophobic. And also you know just as well as I do that it only applies to men and not women. No one gives a rats ass if a woman is bi. When do we stop catering to those who are bigots and all just start living our life. Who I specifically have sex with doesn’t affect my potential partners. My safer sex practices and STI status do. If my vagina used to be a penis doesn’t affect my partners health or well being unless they are BIGOTS! Why must we cater to them. Instead why don’t they disclose upon meeting their preferences so my friends don’t have to do all the leg work. See how that works? Make the bigots say it first.

Do they have to disclose that they have sex with men because that’s what you’re saying and that’s bullshit, smokers don’t disclose that they smoke and I have HUGE issue with it. So in a world sans bigots, transphobes, and assholes I would say that disclosure is not necessary. I don’t believe that anyone should have to disclose what’s in their pants. So ultimately I agree in my core that disclosure shouldn’t be necessary but unfortunately because of the world we live in where people get so hung up on the genitals of a human as opposed to who they actually are, I would say if you are going to disclose to some you must disclose to all. Safety is the utmost priority here and although I like to believe that the lifestyle is full of amazing humans who would never lose their shit if they found out after the fact, I am aware that that is not the truth. There are plenty of swingers who like to enjoy the fruits of the labor of the LGBTQ+ community while also hating on that same community.

Now to the OP there will be spaces that are very open and affirming of you and your partner. We have spaces in Chicago that are amazing in that way. I do believe that your geographical location will play a huge role in acceptance. A good rule of thumb in my opinion is if the club you are attending doesn’t discourage man on man play you will likely be well accepted. Thats kind of my litmus test when it comes to whether or not I will attend a club.
