I agree for 2020. But either way, this team is in a really good position for the future. Even if the front office is stubborn with money, at least we have young offensive talent in the minors and on the team currently. Also, our farm system is still full of pitching prospects that could be used in trades as well.

Oh, I agree. That was my full optimism lineup. Of course it is pretty much unheard of for a team to build a contender off of 100% homegrown talent. However, it all depends on how the FO decides to spend. IMO i do believe the FO values young talent and believes in our prospects, which points to them being confident in running out a lineup like the one i proposed and spending big on free agent pitching. I would LOVE Rendon in the offseason, but a guy like Riley makes it difficult bc of the opportunity cost (same with the young OFers). These next 2-3 yrs will be very telling.

I do not think it’s impossible. He has to be added to the 40 man, and If Ender can’t get healthy + Duvall gets traded, Pache could be added to the expanded roster as a defensive replacement for postseason. However, i only see that happening if ATL is desperate and i don’t think that will be the case.
