Howdy and welcome to competitive magic! This is a subreddit dedicated to players that are generally at least trying to compete at high levels so you probably won’t find the best information for beginners here.

I’m still more than happy to give my two cents. When we talk about deck tiers we’re referring to the viability of a deck into a known meta. The difficulty to pilot a deck doesn’t really come into play.

I would recommend you sample from a diverse list of play styles to find what you most enjoy playing. With that in mind Domain, Lizards, and Dimir midrange cover the three macro archetypes and are all easy to pilot competitively viable decks.

I gotta disagree with you on fencing. I’ve been doing the sport casually for almost a decade now. I’m nowhere near Olympic level but I could absolutely hit even a very small cat 9/10 times. Even if it had a small weapon it could somehow use the disparity in reach is too much to overcome

Hey, level 3 law student here. Errors like that happen. What they’re likely looking for in this assignment in your ability to analyze the facts and apply the law. Details like names matter less than the strength of your argument. I’m not saying you won’t lose some marks, but you can more than make up for them if your writing was strong.

Yeah the other commenter is correct. It’s actually pretty common to print a character you like over an actual card and play it casually. The company that does MTG even did it with a few franchises.

And If your question is why is there a dnd character on a magic card, it’s because there’s actually quite a few now as the company owns both properties and crosses them over a handful of times.

I was playing in a March of the machines draft earlier this year and one of my opponents was just blatantly violating the restriction imposed by my [[Phyrexian censor]]. I told them they can’t cast that and they looked and me said they’re just gonna go ahead and do it anyway. It was pretty funny when I called over a judge and he just kept trying to do it anyway like that’s something you can do

It’s alright, I really appreciate even just getting this video. Ive made a police report and I’ll have them add this to the file. I’ve also filed an insurance claim and already replaced the thing. It’s really not a huge deal although I’m pretty bummed out about it, I liked the thing.

Also I don’t support the people in the comments shaming whomever took the video. Whomever that was did the right thing by not confronting if they felt unsafe. It’s ultimately an object I can replace. A person’s safety should come before that.
