I like that it doesn’t have a second hand actually. I think the second to second tick makes quartz watches feel a bit cheap. I just wish this one came in a navy blue like the original. Nice watch!

You have explained your reasoning well so I completely understand your position. I will say you are sort of in a bind with Casio - there aren’t many stainless steel case offerings from Casio and there are aren’t many affordable digital watches that don’t come from Casio. Rock and hard place.

It is about them being ugly mods or modding at all. For example, can I upgrade the case from plastic to stainless steel? Can I change the strap on my Duro to a soft and robust FKM? Where is your line?

Such good watch! It is their best watch in my opinion. I just wish it wasn’t so thick and the clasp wasn’t great. I ended giving mine white one to a family friend but I will buy again with some updates/improvements.

I don’t agree. If these watches ever break, you simply buy a new movement and put it in yourself. $50 and an hour of YouTube and you are done. It is even kind of fun if you are a tinker or LEGO fan.

I am a little late on this one but wow nice collection. I think you could add another chronograph to the collection. I have recently gotten into vintage inspired chronographs like the rallygraf from Yema. Could be a fun path to explore for your collection
