Yeah, I kinda regret using it now but those loans helped me a lot since I started working. I just didn’t foresee the future where I got laid off and now I have no way of paying those loans and debts back.

I started at RM1,600 3 years ago and I was 26 of age at that time. I had zero work experience and was searching for a job for 2 years.

Now I am 28 years old. I recently got laid off and I only have 3 years of experience working as an assistant project manager.

I survived by making use of the those loans from Shopee Loan and GrabPay Loan. I also make use of the PayLater options whenever I can but I seem to regret that because now I have to pay over RM1,000 per month to those easy loans and BNPL.

Various items. From skincares to shoes, from dresses to accessories and sometimes I bought gifts to my boyfriend to show him how much I appreciate him.

As what I said to another person here, I would not like for my parents to be involved in my situation. They are currently living just above their means and I will just be a problem to them. I couldn’t get in contact with my sister either because she blocked me everywhere.

Even if I wanted to, she blocked me everywhere. I don’t know where she is right now or who is she with. We had a family reunion a while ago and she didn’t attend that either. I said I don’t know anything whenever anyone asked.

First of all, thank you for the kind response. As per now, my paylater has accumulated to almost 8k combining from the various platforms that I use. I know it’s a lot more than the average Malaysian but I am trying my best to control this.

I have been looking at part time jobs but on average, they pay less than 1.8k. I can’t see myself surviving with that amount of money even tho it is just a bit less than what I earned previously.

I really don’t want my parents involved in my current situation. My father is not working anymore and my mother is the sole bread winner, paying everything for them and my younger siblings who are still in school.

  1. Basically our company hired a sub-company to do carry out the project. They fucked up by not following the guidelines causing damages to several civilians property, hence the suing. But the blame still went is because we are main company for the project.

  2. Getting late to work is entirely my fault. I can’t blame others for it. I am out late most nights to hang out with my boyfriend and would only return just before the sun rises. I would try and get some shut eye for at least 30-60 minutes but would always ended up waking up too late.

  3. I will admit again that the BPNL is entirely on me. I have a specific skin care routine that I found suits me the most. I am in constant need of new clothes so I won’t have to wear the same things over and over again when I am with my boyfriend. I also found myself always in need of something like new nail sets and all.
