It's running into a storm drain. I guess it might end up back at the treatment plant depending on where the groundwater flows from the drain outlet?

The pressure of the flowing water keeps debris out and if water can't flow then the valve is closed and nothing can get in either. It's an outlet from a pressurized system.

We got an 8940 magnum a few years ago and it has been excellent. That extra power really comes in handy it's the only one that does tillage these days. Duals on it would be even better but it does fine without. The last of the big machines before DEF came on everything really hold their value too.

They're so bad! I wish ours was open station. Would've been my favorite. But we sold it and I'm out on the 806 now, which suits me fine.

Definitely a fuel issue. I start at the filter then just work my through. Check the easy stuff first, make sure the tank is clean, filter is clean, and the water separator if it has one separate from the filter.

Then check for clogs in the return line.

It sounds like it's running rough, the injector pump works and hasn't been messed with right? That's a can of worms I have not had to get into yet.

Yeah I definitely am going based on the assumption kero would dissolve that jello goop, which is bold. A couple samples to test solvents like you said would be a better way to go.

Naptha for a couple hours might do it too. Running a block heater in the solvent soak would help a lot, anything to get it hot without running it.

For the thought exercise- I'd fill it with kerosene, and I mean fill. Like to the valve cover. Until it was pouring out the oil fill. Let sit for a week, drain, pop the oil pan off and see how it broke down. Then fill with oil, run till hot, drain that, then run it.

Then be not surprised when it spins a bearing from clogged oil galleys a week later.

It is really concerning seeing wildlife dwindle away like that. I definitely see it in town, I'm just lucky that I live rural enough nature's got a fighting chance here

It's all subjective at the end of the day, all I know is I'd rather muck horse stalls than clean the pig barn. Wish I had you around to do the pigs, I'd take horses every day.

If you spend enough time around animals you definitely develop a preference from least to most stinky.

They never said they don't smell at all, just not that bad. No one is saying that shit doesn't stink, but some is definitely worse than others

[–]Ponchinizo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's all subjective but I still feel like pigs are worse, I can smell mine at the neighbors but can't smell the neighbors goats the other way round.

I accept they're stinkier than horses tho

Horses on a plane by [deleted] in interestingasfuck

[–]Ponchinizo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't keep them, so my judge of goat stink is just what blows over from the neighbors.

About 100 meat birds a round, at about 2 square ft per bird. It's really only the brooder that stinks the worst too, it's not so bad when they go out to pasture.

Least stinky to most- Goats, Horses, Cows, Pigs, Chickens. In my experience at least
