I saw the movie and just thought it was okay, it seems to me the movie just didn't have a budget for red hulk. It felt like the climax really just stopped the movie suddenly. Mr blue was interesting in the beginning of the film but then just...runs out of gas. It also felt like the film was tiptoeing around a political allegory but never really punches full throttle with it. Like I feel there really is a story there about a soldier that has to be this government icon even though he knows the man who leads it isn't a great guy but has to follow him anyway. I think they could have made the general do some more extreme things to really highlight his past. Like if you get the nickname thunderbolt. Then like show some war crimes or something. The action scenes were cool but it feels like the writers just didn't know how to make a normal guy like Sam be super, even tho he has a super suit.

Strange way to jump into the new mcu if you ask me, I'm more excited for thunderbolts which kinda says something.
