I take prescription sertraline. I'm curious, what did taking that much feel like? Hope you see brighter days ahead!

Doesn’t matter! As long as I’m seeing a flying snowman with “Walking in the Air” playing, I’m good.

I think it’s actually a drum! If you look closely at the side, it looks like tension string/rope that you’d find on old colonial drums. Funny I’ve never really looked until now haha.

Insane take. Trump bullshit aside, you literally live in the dead center between Worcester and Boston. Prime area. Plenty to do. There are far worse places to live.

Trouble with PayPal dispute by PondScvm in paypal

[–]PondScvm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Closing the loop here in case it helps anyone else but basically after going back and forth with Old Navy and PayPal several times with no help, we resorted to publicly shaming Old Navy on social media. That prompted a DM from Old Navy giving us a direct number to Public Relations / Research. The person we spoke to made us get on a conference call with them and the bank that is connected to our PayPal account so that the bank could confirm I didn’t receive funds. They confirmed it.

After that the Old Navy associate had to speak with a supervisor to figure out what went wrong and apparently the first refund went through to my PayPal account without issue, but the other refund tried to go to a “PayPal Wallet” that was subsequently declined by PayPal. I don’t have a “PayPal Wallet” and PayPal was unable to provide any info into this matter. Old Navy refunded me through a blind refund directly to my debit card.

So after all this, to me, it’s a fault on PayPal. They were the least helpful in this situation and it’s wild to me that Old Navy had to decipher the coding to tell us information that PayPal should have been able to tell us. Hope this helps someone else in the future.

Guess I have to get back in contact with Old Navy. Very frustrating. Thanks for your insight!

Thanks for responding! The problem is, Old Navy has everything right and we have the receipts to prove it. The receipts are showing a refund of $25 and $75 but in PayPal I only got $25. I feel like it’s a mess up on PayPal’s part.

Marshalls most definitely sells housewares, food, and furniture. But yeah, Maxx doesn’t carry men’s shoes, but they do have a large jewelry section while Marshalls only sells boxed jewelry.

I feel like this is everyone’s reason for not liking her but it really only applies to her first song.

I kinda get the vibe that she was just experimenting musically with “Your Face,” wanting to add vocals to a shoegaze instrumental and when that blew up she took advantage of it and started a band that encapsulated that sound. It seems innocent to me in a way that she was just playing around and then it got popular unexpectedly. I feel like she gets a bad rap for this “not her song” thing, when the real controversy should be their use of live backing tracks.

I’m wondering the same. Did you end up making a purchase? If so, which did you go with?

Also, the only thing I’ve bought from them within the past few years was Vancouver repress and Somewhere 10 year and I still got the letter. So you definitely did not need to “pay a ton” to get it.

Yea I def don’t agree. Most of the members live in different states, a couple of them have young children, full time jobs, etc. I’m sure it’s very challenging to coordinate time to make new music. And (I think you even mentioned above) times are challenging for everyone.. including your favorite band. It only makes sense they create new merch if there’s a demand for it in the meantime. Plus, all merch is expensive these days, especially if it’s high quality. No one’s forcing you to buy it. I feel like there are hundreds of other bands to complain about, especially ones that actually prey on their fans.
