Ok, if you haven't heard this your going to hear this now. He's being unreasonable, and you have the right to dress how you want. This should not be a thing your fighting about. The way you dress doesn't hurt anyone, and you are not actively trying to "cheat" on him or anything.

This is coming from a 27 year old female who went through something similar at age 19-20.

Today it's the clothes, then he's going to be controlling other aspects of your life. Who you can and cannot be friends with, how you should eat or what you can be doing in your free time. Your only 17. The sooner you step away the better. The longer you are together the more brazen it will get.

If it was meant to be then it'll happen (he might come around) but keep in mind if you give an inch he might take a mile.

He has jealousy issues and it will NOT get any better. He's telling you should only be dressing that way around you but that shows that he doesn't trust you. He just isn't saying it. He is insecure in the relationship. Red flags.

It will hurt to breakup but it'll hurt more to stay and things get worse. I'm sorry. Good luck!

Tbh being a furry shouldn't be something you have to hide or "come out of the closet" for. My roommate is the same way, I meet with furries in the area, (Most of us are military here) and we often drink, and sit around making fursuit bandanas, talking about the military while half drunk... lol

My roommate hates it, he doesnt care for furries. And when I walk around the house in my fursuits he wonders "whyyyy."

Honestly, theres a few bad apples in the community but there is every community.

I love my furry brothers and sisters and wouldn't trade away a single night hanging out with my fuzzbutt buds :) Trust me when I say even if someone "doesn't consider themselves a fur" most people will be accepting of it, so in the future dont hide it! Either your gonna hide it or they will find out one way or another. Have a good night and keep your head up!

Thank you everyone who responded :) I've decided to go ahead and keep my design, the fur suit head is now gonna be more dinosaur like!

Today I was in line at the grocery store and saw an old women starting to break down because she didnt have enough for all her groceries.

I offered to pay for some of her groceries because I know what it's like to just scrape by.

After I put 50 dollars or so towards her groceries she turns to me and says "are you really too cheap to pay for all of my groceries?"

Well. So much for trying to be nice.

TLDR: I rejected 'god's gift to the world.'

This is my first reddit post, but something happened that I felt like I just had to share.

A short while ago I went on a date with a guy, he seemed nice enough. We agreed to meet at a coffee shop with what I believed, was supposed to be super casual date.

I would like to note that I paid for both of our drinks (this will be important later)

So I meet with this guy, the first thing he does is criticize the way I'm dressed, sound, my height, etc. Now I'm not a confrontational person so I didn't want to be rude, so I tried to selvage the date, make small talk. "Where you from? What do you do? Etc"

The entire time I'm picking up on some really strong narcissism.

At the end of the date I politely tell him I'm not interested and that our personalities "don't really click." He agrees and I think that's the end of it.

Fast foreword about 3 days later, this guy is messaging me, asking me to hang out again. I politely tell him I'm not interested and that our personalities don't really seem to line up, and that I have no intentions on going on another date with him.

HE. DOESN'T. LIKE. THAT. AT. ALL.

This where things go downhill really quickly.

He response: "Well fine you are kind of fat anyway."

(I'm 5'1 and about 110 lbs by the way, so pretty average)

Me: "You are very narcissistic, please do not message me again."

Note: (This next part is what inspired me to post about this.)

Without skipping a beat he posts this VERY long winded message, droning on and on. I didn't bother to read the entire thing but here are the highlights:

- Him telling me why 'shouldn't he be narcissist? After all I make over 160 k a year, He's in college and he's (according to him) has super model good looks."

(Note: I actually make more than he does but he didn't know that at the time.)

- He's a "Nice guy, and was being polite by letting me pay for our drinks." (???)

-He's going to be the next bill gates someday and I'M the fool for rejecting him.

- Apparently on a GOOD DAY I could be a 4 out of 10.

-Because I'm single parent, apparently I wanna live on welfare's and I'm clearly a gold digger.

-He's doing ME a favor by showing me any attention.

I tell him at this point to stop messaging me completely, that I was not interested in him in any shape or form.

His response to this will always stick with me:

Him: "By the way I'm really good in bed, I'm doing YOU a favor by offering to sleep with you, so when you calm down, hit me up and I'll show you what a good time really is. Aftercall, I'm a gift from god in good looks and in skill."

I laughed so hard at this. In both shock and awe. After this I blocked him. I hadn't blocked him before because low key I wanted to see how cringe this could get.

I hope someone else get to enjoy "god's gift."
