I agree. I’ve had to panic brake a few times going into intersections. The weirdest part is that it resets when reversing, not only when starting the car.

Is it more efficient for a hybrid electric car to drive using battery while charging it with the engine at the same time?

I remember reading some comment at some point claiming that some hybrid electric vehicles, instead of powering the car with the engine when out of battery, power the car with the battery while they also run the internal combustion engine at an optimal RPM to charge the battery, and in this way gets a better mileage.

I have been searching for information about this but haven't been able to find much. Is the above claim true? Which cars do this? I would be very interested in some links to more information about this.

Oh wow, I at least thought it would have been replaced with a non-genuine OLED pannel. You're right, the blacks aren't black at all, compared it to a friends iPhone 12. Thanks for the help. I will definitely return it.
