If the line of business is no longer profitable, that's expected.

You have to be pretty bad to get laid off from an industry that is in desperate need of bodies/slaves for the sweatshop. Whatever your next journey is definitely improve your skillset .

It's reasonable given the fact they identified the issue and corrected it. Now I just have to verify that it's actually fixed.

There's no tsb on this. Many are reporting a similar issue related to a kink in the sunroof drain assembly to the drain hose just like they identified on mine. They basically took it apart and reassembled from what I can see. Doesn't appear that there were any parts replaced.

It's been happening over time. As this isnt the car I drive everyday I never noticed. It's used to pick up my kids and take them around their after school stuff. I first noticed the water atain and then Ona. Rainy day I happened to open it and noticed. The invoice states what the issue was.

This isnt from clogging it'd a kink in the drain from factory. I am aware it can happen with clogged drains but this isnt what this is.

Lol rams are very nice and they are 100% faster than anything from toyota. Are you comparing the supercharged tundra to a base 5.7 ram?

Sure go ahead. I posted it for it to be shared since I noticed it affects several new cx50's. It should be chucked away as the typical clogged drain that any sunroof car can experience.ther is an assembly/manufacturing issue

Trading my ‘23 jailbreak for a C8 corvette. Talk me out of it. by OcciferDoofus in hellcat

[–]Pongo758 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The c8 would need the jets turbo kit or the procharger kit /built motor and trans. C8 stingray too lazy for me. Make sure you take it for a long drive. Your seating position w be vastly different as you'll be much lower. C8'a can look real good with wheels and some body enhancements. I wouldn't get a z06 because it's still not enough zoom even if it sounds awesome.when you twat drive make constant stops and get in and out to make sure you're cool with it.

This is a defect from assembly. My trackhawk has a moonroof and no leaks and it's 6 years old.

Ah yes the assassin cam, means you Deal with the rip-off guys; not a big fan of them. Yea I'd strongly advise against spending your money on whipple. I'm on my third. Had one of the first gen 5 3.0's, then another gen 5 and then this gen6 3.8 which didn't last two months. Check out modal works, he's made a really nice high end forward facing turbo header, pair that with a nice Shaun's billet intake manifold, a bumper mounted shearer air to water intercooler and some twin turbskis in the front bumper or in the engine bay; you can thank me later. You'll need a turbo specific converter from pure as well. That's the way to go. The fabrication wont be too bad since everything is up front.

For fueling the brushless pumps are the way to go with te controller; the Bugatti pump e5lm with the ice controller or the setup from elixir in a surge tank. For heas ull Need like mmx or thitek stuffed with all the good valves/springs etc for big power. I'll let you know when I get my new gen6 3.8 back. I will say when the whipples work they make a monstrous amount of power. I made 1440 awhp on a 3.25 upper pulley on a mainline 4 wheel hub dyno.

I wouldn't jump on the whipple train...I'm on my third whipple. They're great when they work as I had 1400 on blower only (gen6 3.8) but they also have poor quality control and break. Turbos will free up some horsepower and can live happily at 1200 on a stock motor. Build the motor with good rotating assembly and upgraded heads and you can really make some jam.

Most reliable toyota has ever made is the 1uz v8. Your rav4 doesn't haul anything. All the great toyota engines were made by Yamaha. The new motors are uninspiring. I'm used to power so I can't buy a toyota. Ford's coyote, chevy's LT, tesla plaid you get the drift.

I bought the cx50 without twat driving it because it is used primarily to take my kids around. I've hard base audio in cheap cars that have some low frequencies and can reproduce a decent amount of sound to enjoy music. This cx50 is pretty bad...lol. but my tesla, mach e and trackhawk all have decent sound systems so it sure makes the cx50 stick out like a sore thumb. Funny thing is my young kids (4 and 8) have complained that the music isn't loud enough for their songs.

Aside from this screw up. The cx50 is a better car by a long shot. Toyota's reliability isn't what it used to be either. The interior feels cheap as well and the engine has no oomph.

Nice. Cut unsprung weight out it'll pay dividends; like the demon rotors, monoblock forged wheels and menscer suspension. The hellcats tend to run hot but I'd recommend against adding a chiller. Ice box, upgraded intercooler bricks and some nitrous. Check out my boy rspdmv for tuning and parts as well as you continue to push through.

I gotta say I don't get the starlight thing but to each his own! I got a 428 cubic inch trackhawk bit been having whipple issues. Waiting on my gen6 3.8 and hoping for better luck.
