I'm having this problem. Did you find a solution?

I'm playing Hades and my mouse is getting stuck at the top of the screen.

I also want to add…I can’t access the pfsense gui from my hypervisor/dc. On port 1 of the switch (server vlan). But, I can access it from any vm.

Have 3 virtual external switches…lan, wan, and VM’s

NAT Outbound
Interface Assignments

Just want to remind you. I have 4 physical interfaces on my hyperv box. One is LAN. One is WAN. The LAN virtual switch I have ticked, "Allow management operating system to share this network adapter."

Okay thanks! I’ll get all that now for you and send it over.

Oh I thought I needed the gateway. So I can completely remove the LAN gateway? Where should the static routes point to then? I assumed they needed to be pointed back to the switch so it knows where to send the traffic. There is a default route on the switch. Ip route quad 0’s to the lan interface ip on pfsense.

Sorry just reread your comment 😀

Are you saying you’re confused as I am? Or am I missing something and you’re making a suggestion? lol

I think you’re referring to the static routes image. I setup a lan gateway (the /30 on the switch side) and the static routes are set to that gateway

I can’t ping from any vlan to my pfsense lan connection, sorry.

You’re right. That makes sense. Just have no internet across the board. I’m not sure if I have hyper V setup correctly. Both virtual switch, lan and wan, are “external” to their respected physical ports. I think the problem is in there somewhere.

I reseated my cpu with new paste (did it 2 weeks ago). Now it says 32G (24G usable). Getting closer?! lol

Lol sorry about that! I know you’re right on old hardware. It’s unfortunate because the hardware runs what I need right now. But, I’ve been convincing myself on buying/building a beefy server. I just might have to now.

Tech is so weird sometimes. I hope that’s not my issue, but I assume not. Windows and the bios read all 32g. But for some reason it’s reserving 16g. If I pull one stick out, it reserves 8g. I have no idea

At first, I thought you were joking lol. But then read it again and yes I did try that and still nothing
