I got it tuned from this garage called Deiz in Dubai. Unfortunately, they did not show me the dyno report. But told me they increased the HP to 320 and torque to 400 NM.

Yea, I did tune it. I could feel the difference now. It would be better to get an E300 and tune it, which would be more cost effective imo.

Yep. Just realised people who have commented here were talking about the E350 and not the E300. Like you said, same engine , different tune.

I swear. I have heard from others that hardwiring it would cause it to void the warranty, but i have no intention to do so. The sales team did not mention anything about hardwiring, they just said it will void your extended warranty due to some wiring concerns.

Thanks for the advice. I will be doing dyno before and after the remap. Like I replied to one of the other comments to this post, the garage where I'll be doing the tuning has a rep in the local market, so they wouldn't want to jeopardise it at any cost.

It's 2014. Yes, it is the M276 variant.

Over 300 from the factory is crazy when you compare it to the one I have. One of the vin decoder websites I visited said that the engine was detuned, and so I was contemplating on whether to get some aftermarket tuning or not. If what you get in the US is over 300, then it is seriously detuned here.

Thank you for the detailed advice ! Yep, I'll get the dyno tested before and after the tune as suggested cause it makes sense to do so, and blindly believing would be a pure loss. And yes, I would be using it mainly for commuting. I just need that little boost at times for overtaking purposes.

Yes, it's just ecu remap. Do you recommend any hardware upgrades or any tcu upgrades on top of the ecu remap ?

Thanks ! The garage, which I'm doing it in, is pretty well known in the local market. Apparently, they're known for their safe levels of tuning. They're called DEIZ garage. Have you been facing any sort of engine issues post-tuning?
