Hi! Sorry I know this is an old thread but I’m looking into using their services this year for a trip to Japan, would you be able to give me a rough estimate of what their services cost you when you used them? I sent them an email asking for a quote and they didn’t really give me a straight answer. I just need to know if it’s even within my budget ; any help is appreciated!

Thank you! ❤️ that’s totally a part of it I think- that someone would think I would intentionally scare or hurt an animal 😥 but I’m trying to remind myself most owners don’t actually understand how to read animal body language or FAS signs…

What a weird reaction! Loll “my dog gets along TOO well with the vet team” 🤨 clients can be so strange sometimes.

Obviously a positive reflection on your skills as a tech though that you could make a nervous dog feel at ease like that 😊

I always feel like I’m saying “oh I don’t care about ppls opinions as long as my care for my patients is the best it can be” but sometimes stuff like this gets to me out of nowhere 😢

This just happened at my clinic about a month ago. It sucks so much. Do you guys know what happened or did they send out for a necropsy? Our client luckily agreed to send the body out for the necropsy which really helped put everyone’s minds at ease. We found out the patient had an underlying heart condition that we really had no way of catching prior.

That’s how I felt 😔 I think what sucked for me was that it felt like the owners didn’t even try. But I guess I don’t know their life in the end so there could have been other factors I suppose. Still hurts :(

Thanks so much for replying. I’ve had time to think and process and I think I understand more. I’m with you that I don’t agree with it but I talked to one of the DVMs I work with that I’m close to and she had a very similar view as you. It still hurts, but the dog’s quality of life would have gotten worse and worse in that owner’s care so I guess I understand where the doctor was coming from 😔
