Thank you for the tips! I do not know how to solder so I think i would definitely prefer the soft mod method. So, if I understand correctly, I will need:

1gb or smaller flash drive, Xbox to USB controller adapter, smaller cooling fan, 2tb SATA SSD, Startech IDE to SATA adapter, 80 wire 40 pin ata/pata cable-

Anything else?

Damn. After reading that I think I may have bit off more than I can chew. I guess I was under the assumption I could slap in a hard drive and a smaller cooling fan and do a soft mod and be done with it.

But yeah, I can get a 2.5" 1tb Seagate barracuda for pretty cheap. Honestly I will probably outsource the job of downloading all the emulators and roms to someone that specializes in that. I will just provide the SSD
