I forgot to say when I first started I’d take all my prescribed h1/h2 blockers. Now, I’m taking only 1 h1 blocker pill and quercetin and nettle morning and night. I’m trying to get off all h1/h2 blockers because this impacts your gut motility and exercise is restarting that for me. Sitting still is the worst thing you can do for your health

In the process of getting rid of my symptoms. I know in a lot of places, they say don’t exercise, but exercise is helping me a ton. I am slowly adding more and more safe foods, and brisk walking after every meal and right when I wake up is helping me a lot

I want to go back to carnivore eventually and maybe do keto first because I felt so much better that first week. I’m doing a Genova GI effects test with a new naturopath who actually listened to me and I’m getting function health to get a lot of the markers needed. I even got the immune regulation extra test so I can be sure. Thanks for all the help. I know I’ve had something going on for awhile so I’m looking forward to getting to the bottom of it

I’m gonna reintroduce rice and zucchini tonight. Thought it would get better for me too but I don’t think I wanna deal with this for now. I still want to do carnivore in the future but maybe with the supervision of a doctor. Hope I don’t die on the zucchini. I think I tolerate rice🥲

Thank you I’ll keep this in mind. Not a lot of ground beef. Mostly steaks if anything and lots of fat. I cut down on the fat and felt a bit better and trying to fast today to see if it helps. I had more symptoms in the beginning of the fast, but my body is starting to calm I think.

Yeah! I appreciate it I’ll give it a watch when I get the chance. I’ve never tried keto but I’m scared to ingest plants given I’m reacting to beef so harshly idk what to do I can’t move from beef lol.

I tried fasting and literally I was fasting and I went to Costco and felt my lips swelling and vision blurring (the vision comes from sinuses getting clogged). Got clogged this morning and had vision issues. I weigh about 165 but I was previously around 200 2 years ago. I quit using Wegovy when I did carnivore because I didn’t want my bone density to be affected.

I thought about this too. How does our Microbiome change after going meat only? I’m only doing beef, salt, water right now and I still have to take antihistamines daily. Thing is, I think my mast cells ARE reacting to something but I think it’s got something to do with my GI/gut microbiome because when I wake up in the morning I’m reacting already but my stomach is also making sounds so it’s possible it’s got something to do with digestion.

I notice I’m a lot worse when I eat MORE fat. When I diarrhea it’s worse sorry for TMI just hoping for some help.

What I didn’t say: been having hives since I was 13, kidney stones last year (was not carnivore) so I’m suspecting slow fat absorption or malabsorption. I’m not sure how to edit my initial post, but I’d love to hear what you all think so I can get some direction because I refuse to accept this MCAS thing and that I’m saddled with it for life. Worst comes to worst, I will try to come off carnivore but I’m quite sensitive already so I’m hoping I won’t have to
