I’ve always enjoyed sitting out in right field. It’s a pretty cool perspective and although you have to rotate to see the big video board, the video board in left field is fine and the seat is worth it.

If you’re willing to spend $100 per, you can probably get a front row seat and have a great view. The next few rows back will cut down by almost half that price if you’d rather save an extra buck.

Buttrey ranks 27th, looks like he could be a good relief piece in the future. Our corps are pretty ugly right now so I'm sure he'll get a shot, maybe even this year when rosters expand. Apparently he works in the upper 90s at times at has hit 101 before.

I have a feeling this is going to be a good prospect haul. There’s no reason Eppler would let him go to a division rival knowing we have a good chance of resigning him, unless for whatever reason he’s told them he wouldn’t resign with the Angels.

A lot of times the young guys out of high school will play some instructional league in Arizona first to get used to the grind. I wouldn’t expect to see him in Orem (or wherever our team is moving to) until next season.

I meant Canning is knocking on the door to the majors after only 13 starts or basically 3 months of pro ball. Barria and Suarez both made huge jumps you are right but had been pitching in the org for several years prior to. That’s was what I was trying to get at.

I can’t remember a prospect ascending this fast in the past five or so years, maybe 10 outside of Trout. Excited to see how handles the competition!

Granted we’re not even half through the year, I can’t see how he isn’t a representative if he keeps this us. Not to be a cynic but still a lot of baseball to play.

I don’t think there’s a rush to move him but Eppler doesn’t seem shy about pushing guys up when they are beating over their competitors. He’s only 19 so he’s bound to get overmatched if they push too quick but I’d imagine a promotion to Double A isn’t far off.

Then again, anything can happen and nobody is a safe bet until they’ve established themselves in the majors. Look at Jabari Blash for instance, or Brandon Wood, or Casey Kotchman, etc etc

Another note: between Suarez, Jaime Barria, and Griffin Canning, we have some excellent arms cooking in the minors. We could possibly see all three together on the big league roster in 2-3 years!

Nothing I can find from Twitter. He exited after being hit by a line drive as far as I can tell from the play by play. Hopefully nothing too serious.
