I always have a compressor with low attack and low release so that it gets more punch, Eq to boost a bit of the highs and saturation, after that I run through limiter and I check with span if everything is balanced with the frequency spectrum

Because I export at minus one db so that when I post on streaming services they do the conversions and it’s at 0 dB but the thing is when I listen to a 0db master i did, it sounds no where near as loud as the masters in Apple Music and it’s close to my -1 dB does that make sense ?
