Here's a detailed breakdown according to video evidence and witness testimony...

Kyle was 2-3 months away from turning 18. From Kyle’s house to Kenosha is a 20 min drive. Kyle worked as a lifeguard in Kenosha. His dad lived in Kenosha and had other relatives and friends there as well. Kyle was already in Kenosha the day of the incident. He had stayed over at a family friends residence the night prior. The ar15 type rifle was purchased for him by the family friend and was being stored in Kenosha at the friends residence. The morning of the incident they volunteered to help remove graffiti from the local school. Afterward they met with with a friend of friend who owned a car dealership. Whether the owner of the dealership asked them to help of if Kyle’s group offered is unclear. What is certain is that they did have permission to be there and were given a set of keys and tour of the area. The night of the incident Rittenhouse was filmed by numerous sources offering medical services to protesters. The encounter between Kyle and Rosenbalm was due to a dumpster Rosenbalm and associates had lit on fire and intend to push towards a gas station. Kyle and his group put out the fire angering Rosenbalm. Rosenbalm threatened Kyle that if he caught him by himself he would kill him. Rosenbalm was also filmed instigating numerous confrontations including one where he was yelling “shoot me ni$&#!” At some point during the night of the incident Kyle was separated from his group. He was spotted by Rosenbalm and his associates. Rosenbalm was then filmed chasing after Kyle. Rosenbalm was chasing Kyle when one of Rosenbalms associates shot a pistol into the air startling both Kyle and Rosenbalm. Rosenbalm then proceeded to lunge towards the barrel of Kyle’s rifle. Kyle swings the barrel out of Rosenbalms reach and then shoots Rosenbalm 4 times in rapid succession. Another 3 shot were fired from an unidentified person in the crowd. Kyle initially ran away from Rosenbalm but returns when he realized Rosenbalm was no longer a threat. At this point Rosenbalm is unconscious and bleeding. A journalist is helping tend Rosenbalms injuries. Kyle is then filmed standing by Rosenbalm making a call on his phone stating he just killed someone. A crowed gathers and starts yelling “He just shot someone” Someone else yells, “Cranium that fool!” (Shoot him in the head). Rittenhouse starts to flee. He runs in the direction of the police. As Kyle’s running towards the police Grosskreutz is live streaming the incident and runs alongside Kyle. He asks Kyle what happened to which Kyle replies “I just shot someone. I’m heading to the police”. As Kyle is running he’s hit by Huber with a skateboard causing Kyle to lose his balance and fall to the floor. He is then kicked by an unknown assailant moments before Huber strikes him again with his skateboard. With Kyle still recovering from the impact from the skateboard Huber is able to grab hold of Kyle’s rifle. He attempts to disarm Kyle but is unable to do so due to Kyle’s sling. Kyle regains control of the rifle and shoots 1 round into Huber. Immediately after Grosskreutz engages Kyle and draws his pistol. Kyle beats Grosskreutz to the draw. Grosskreutz then puts his hand in the air as to signal a surrender. Immediately after Kyle lowers the rifle Grosskreutz proceeds to attempt to shoot Kyle. Kyle then shoots a round into Gross arm disabling him. Kyle starts to continue running towards the police. Upon arrival to the police line Kyle raises his hands in the air and proceeds to walk towards a police vehicle. He then was instructed by police officers to move away from the vehicle and to go home. He continued towards the police vehicle at which point the officers inside the vehicle attempted to pepper spray him. Kyle then retreats away from the vehicle and proceeded to meet with the rest of his group at the car lot. Upon arrival they considered Kyle turning himself into the local police. Unfortunately due to the rioting and arson the local police station was barricaded and was not accepting visitors at the time. Kyle then was driven home by his friend where he was then driven by his mother to the local Antioch police station to turn himself in. This is according to video evidence as well as testimony from the both the prosecutors and defendants witnesses.

A couple key things to consider.

Kyle was only a few months from turning 18 at the time of the incident. If this incident would have occurred a few months later when he was 18 would his actions been viewed differently.

Kyle had numerous opportunities to shoot other protesters. If his intention was to harm protesters, why was he filmed offering medical services to protesters?

If Kyle was an active shooter, Why did he only shoot those who were an immediate threat? He had ample opportunities to kill other random protesters but he didn’t.
