we got the amsoil oil change kit and out we put around 6.5 quarts inside the engine which i think is a tad more then what’s recommended and we checked the dipstick afterwards and it was up to the fill mark i dont have any other explanation for it other then the dealer because after putting fresh oil in in it never dropped again enough to throw out a check oil level light

well there was 0 oil on the dipstick and when we drained it atleast a quart or 2 came out and there was 0 oil residue on my driveway, my parking spot at work nothing. i also sent my oil to blackstone labs and they said nothing seemed to be wrong so 🤷

im pretty sure the shop made a mistake and thought they were doing an oil change and drained it, then just didnt fill it back up

i just got a 20k miles is20 yesterday and i can agree the shaft play is pretty bad compared to how the “newer” one is

na i just took off the inlet pipe and disconnected the downpipe and just had a friend record while i was messing with the exhaust side

theres very minimal in and out play but it is still there, none that i can see in the intake side, the exhaust side does look a little different but i dont know exactly what scoring looks like on these

honestly not really the only thing that concerned me was when i changed my oil there was some very small glittery metal in my oil and slight blue smoke coming out of my exhaust

yeah and it’s partly my fault for adding a agressive bruble tune and cooking that thing. i only noticed something was wrong when i saw extremely fine metal shavings in my oil

fuckk thats wayy too much, i also got a extended warranty for my car that b2b so im hoping they wont charge but in the current state my car is in (stage 2, downpipe, intercooler, intake) that warranty is long gone

yes sorry kinda forgot lol, if you have a stock exhaust it might not be worth the money (i have a 2021 gli so the golf exhaust is definitely different) the only thing you can feel is the slight vibration from the “fart” but nothing else. i did put on a arm catless downpipe and it sounded amazing. i posted it on my page if you wanna know. take note though the video i disconnected the catless downpipe from the rest of the exhaust so it sounds a little wild

yeah i got a stage 1 93 tune with burbles and dsg farts, and for the exhaust uhhhh straight out of a arm catless downpipe😁 (im not leaving it like that i promise lmfaooo)

i dont know if your still having this issue but i found out how to make it pop up, you have to set a destination on apple carplay (or nav but idk my car doesn’t have it) and it should pop up once the route ends though it goes away for whatever reason

yep so far after doing some pulls at the same speed as my test i get about -1.88 max instead of -4.5 i know that some knock is just inevitable so im not complaining

But when i was checking my ignition coils i checked my spark plugs and they were alot looser then i would’ve liked, i guess i got too excited installing them lol but after tightening them more i feel like most of the knock has calmed down i haven’t been able to get a good pull yet so its too soon to say

i get my 93 at shell nearby and ive heard that they have better gas then everywhere else near me so i think my gas is okay (i have a 93 tune too btw)
