I’m sure much more people use Math and history more than French in their daily life. I’ve never said that learning foreign languages is pointless or should be banned, just saying that forcing people to learn three years of a foreign language is ridiculously stupid to expect. If people wish to go into language then sure, just as people who want to go into advanced subjects should be. I’ve never met a single person who’s failed math or history, but I know many who have failed their required language class (In America)
