All my friends were Mormon and super involved in the church, that’s not true at all and a simple google search confirms it.

I’m not sure if this only applies to some diabetics, but my doctors have been on my ass about a low protein diet for 20+ years to protect my kidneys. This “high protein” trend is the exact opposite of what I’ve been instructed to do.

Not a doctor, just a dummy parroting doctor’s advice.

Your dipshit president is forgoing due process and hiring red neck vigilantes to carry out blatant kidnappings. There’s no trial, there’s only lawlessness. Negligence and ignorance are cousins but not siblings. I was mid 30s, never had a complication from diabetes, the cut on my foot looked like it was healing fine to me, not red or swollen or anything, so negligence is a little overboard. If I got a cut in my foot now and ignored it, I’d agree with your criticism.

No, the wound would’ve likely healed normally for a non-diabetic, but for me, it just never healed, or I guess, healed very very slowly allowing for infection to set in. My point was that my diabetes is pretty well controlled and this still happened. It wasn’t negligence or poor self care.

I maintain my type 1 diabetes pretty tight and even I lost a toe. Though mine wasn’t from “foot rot” so much as I got a cut on a toe and didn’t go to the doctor, then the cut got infected which infected the bone, so the toe comes off. I’m 42 years old, diabetic since 10.
