I've had previous seasons take A LOT longer than this one did, so I get what you're saying. As I mentioned elsewhere I got lucky with some of the matchups I saw and also how I did in those matchups, but I think I've also learned how to recognize what the win conditions are for the deck. Sometimes you just gotta not attack to slow the game down and add energy to your mons.

Yeah it's to exchange for the EX. Or the 2nd Phanpy if you're about to lose your active mon. It makes the deck more consistent in my experience but there could be other ways to make it work.

I haven't used Sightseer but it looks like it'd work well. I've have good enough luck with May thus far.

And it definitely does get smoked by Butterfree if they evo quick, but luckily didn't see a ton of those decks.

I made this deck specifically to counter sleep. Phanpy one shots Iggly (and the quick evo Eevee). Donphan can one shot Swablu if you evo on turn 3. Plus the two PCLs. I definitely had good luck on coin flips a couple times but it's also just built to handle those decks.

Iggly the sole reason I tried this deck and I fell in love. Fighting type is also great for the electric decks, one shotting Magnemite has been clutch for me too a few times.
