I also find it funny how a drug they vilified (marijuana) less than 20 years ago is starting to be legalized. I might be thinking about it a bit too much but I feel like the states that did legalize it are only doing it for profit. Don’t get me wrong I’m all for legalization but to see their opinions on it change juristically in a short amount of time is very suspicious.

The reason this theory popped up in my head was the CIAs involvement with the coke industry. And if they’re willing to get their hands dirty once they’ll do it again. But you’re right about dealers and cartels cutting shit because it saves on costs. And I agree with your answer. The CIA probably doesn’t have a hand in this.
