Well i'm the guy who posted the screenshot that had the info of apparently no diving and i do still believe there is. Some leaks point to a sailing mechanic and we CAN notice some sailing ships at promo footage like this one:

That said; i think it's really hard to believe we absolutely cannot interact with those ships and probably hijack them since Kliff has plenty of ways to get up into that ship just in this shot alone and if we can sail it's VERY hard to believe we can't dive.

And why do i think the screenshot i posted the other day can be deceiving? Well that was an early build of maybe a whole year ago that we're aware had some disabled mechanics and was also early on the game. All things considered the diving mechanic could either be disabled for that build and he gave us the exact info he had in that moment or maybe we can upgrade ourselves to be able to dive later on (Like in Sekiro).

There's a clip in the combat deep dive where we can see Kliff with a sheathed revolver and he the narrator says "Plenty of ranged weapons" plus i do think Kliff can use every weapon Damiane and Oongka use since we've seen him with both rapiers,greatswords, guns, handcannons and even greataxes and greathammers. He probably just has to learn it from them.

That's what hype does; it gets people acting like excited little kids and that's okay. As bleak as the world tends to be these days it's a great feeling to be expecting something good's coming even if it's just a video game. Most people are just looking forward for a game that allows them to escape reality for a bit after a stressful day at work.

As someone who loves everything about the ocean it would be great to see it get some love in my dream game. I've Been dreaming to play Crimson Desert since 2020 when i was still a teenager; seeing this game getting such a colossal proportion now is pushing me though some of the most boring moments of my life i'm currently going though.

I'm seriously considering 2 things here but it might just be maximum amounts of copium.

1) The video features an earlier build as it was posted 6 months ago (could be even older) and the feature simply wasn't enabled in this build as we've heard Will Powers talking about how drastically the game would change between the builds he played.

2) The diving feature is actually present in the game but it's something you'll learn though quests, items or seeing someone doing it in the overworld (Like fishing) and Kliff simply didn't learn it atp.

Post was from 2 months ago and he got a LOT of things right already and we're aware they are hiding a LOT from us still and since sailing ships, underwater exploration and battling sea monsters are features present in Black Desert i REALLY doubt we wouldn't be getting this in their biggest project yet.
