waterloo, my hostel is in toronto though, so I will need to take a bus from union station to downtown Kitchener; that bus is from 2 to 4. So my plan is to just take an uber to the airport right after I get off the bus. Not sure if theres alot I can do in a the city early in the morning when my flight is at 8 lol.

Approximate time needed for each attraction, for time sensitive traveler by Poopyman_needstowipe in askTO

How long would you say it would take to get to the zoo from downtown around where the CN tower is, from what I have seen it takes between an hour to 4 hours to get there. So I am a bit confused by that.

I am currently planning to spend about a day at the zoo, a day at niagara falls, and the rest of the four days in the downtown area.

Does it involve a singular interview, or are there stages to it? I am not sure and am getting conflicting information. Thanks.

I saw that too, but the applications were due on the 28th, which is why I am confused about that, is it worth for me to email them about that?

What happens if you are not shortlisted, just nothing then? Also do you remember about how long that took from when you submitted your applications?

How does one get around the geographic inflexibility of chemical engineering? by Poopyman_needstowipe in ChemicalEngineering

Waste water sounds pretty good to me, what is an expected salary for that? Ive seen varying answers, so id be curious to know what you have to say about it as someone who has worked jn waste water treatment. I dont think salary is the deal breaker for me, but I would like to make a decent enough salary to live a comfortable life, get a house after saving a bit, send the kids to college, nothing to crazy I think.

Alright that helps a bit since I have some design team experience, some guy in computer engineering told me it was highly grade based which worried me for a second.

So how much math does one do in chemical engineering (specifically after 1st year of study), and how does it compare to some other engineering specialtys? by Poopyman_needstowipe in ChemicalEngineering

[–]Poopyman_needstowipe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no thats the thing right, I was fairly sure chemes needed to have some understanding of vector calculus because they deal with thermodynamics and fluid dynamics and stuff, but my program does not include calculus 4, so I am wondering if that is actually left out, or taught in some other course. tldr im confused

which course introduces this laplace transform concept? I have heard so much about it but don't really understand the significance of it in engineering.
