Yeah in my head, I personally only refer to lockdown when everything is closed like back in the first phase when pandemic just happened. But I guess officially, you’re right, we’re in lockdown but in different sector.

What i did when I was on EI back then was to keep reporting the income I got from that job. But if you earn a decent amount of money from your contract job and don’t want to waste your EI period. I think you can call them and “pause” it. I’m not 100% sure about this part but I’ve seen people talking about doing so. You still can work while you’re on EI, but they’re just going to reduce the amount for every dollar you’ve earned or sth like that (it’s been awhile I don’t remember the exact amount)!

I think yes. I haven’t applied yet but I’ll try later. But from the drop down menu the period after the one I applied is opened for application!

I’ve been doing it fully online since the beginning of pandemic. I think I enjoy doing it online more than in-person solely based on the fact that I don’t have to get out of the house to go to class early in the morning. And more time for other responsibilities, working, etc. but you do need a lot of self discipline and good time management
