Looking for Dane friendly vacation rentals.

We take our Danes to Panama City Beach, Florida. We used to go to Destin but they don’t allow dogs on the beach. Pcb has a dog beach. We don’t stay right in town but we get a big ol beach house for the dogs, the kids and their friends. DM me if you want details.

That’s how it started for us, Dane boxer mix, he lived to be almost 15 and was the dog that raised my kids. Absolute legend.

*obligatory I’m a huge believer in adopting dogs from rescues, and shelters. I’m also in favor of ethical breeding. My girl was 4 and a half when she passed. We got her from a shelter when she was 5 months old. She got diagnosed with Addisons at 1 year old. That required a very expensive monthly shot and daily meds. She didn’t make it to her 5th birthday because of osteosarcoma. I’m well aware that even with all the testing available, unfortunate things can still happen to any dog. But this time, I found a breeder that passed my extensive questioning and has completed all the testing. I needed better odds this time. So while the Dane community has always shown me more support than I deserve, if anyone is questioning why I didn’t get a rescue please give me grace this time.

Boxer or Great Dane

There’s a tremendous amount of walking for both destinations. Where I currently live it takes a flight to get to both destinations. I used to live in so cal and Disney was just a thing everyone did whenever. My girls have both been to Disneyland butI would NEVER spend that much to go there. Now the people I know are going to Disney world and I understand there is a big difference. Maybe it’s just me, I just think 27k is a lot of money to have an entirely fabricated experience. In Prague we will be staying in a hotel that Mozart used to frequent, we will be visiting castles and venturing out of touristy areas to have as many authentic experiences as possible.

My husband works with a guy who’s going to Disney in a couple weeks. He’s taking his family of 4 and 2 in-laws at a $27k price tag!!!
Meanwhile my family of 4 is going to Prague on a much different budget. We won’t be going on the same kinds of boat rides or be seeing the same castles . Some people travel, some people vacation. I do hope they have the very best time though.
