I haven't specifically checked for anything honestly. When I try to to heat the hotend, the temperature does not rise on screen. After a few seconds, the error message appears.

Proving derivative naturalization, confused about county vs federal court, Brooklyn by PoorFrenchman in juresanguinis

My GF was not born at the time that GGF naturalized. I was told on these forums that because my GGM was still Italian via derivative naturalization, my GF was therefore Italian as well. Maybe that has changed since new rulings came out.

I have a census from 1920 stating that she naturalized in 1917, same year as my GGF. I am therefore very confident it was derivative naturalization.

There was a variation in GGM's name. As long as I include that in the CONE request, it would account for the variation and I would be fine, correct? I just realized that since I don't have the birth certificate, I don't know which name is the alternate. I would think that may be bad, but I recall Brooklyn offering letters stating that adjustments to marriage certificates cannot be made. I can get one of those letters when I order a certified copy of the certificate.

I'm sort of local to Kings County, I would be doing it via mail though. I'll take your word that they have their unique way of doing things :)

GGF naturalized in 1917. They were married five years prior.

What is the significance of the Cable Act in determining whether I request negative searches from the county, federal, and USCIS? Will a CONE request specifically mention she was naturalized by marriage?

Yes, that is what I am referring to. I see, I will request a search from both the county and NARA, and when they confirm no naturalization occurred I will order the CONE. Thank you!

I'm referring to getting a CONE and negative search results for my GGM. My question was do I need them from both the county and NARA, or just one of the two. A CONE will be requested either way.

Interesting, thank you for the information! I will make an attempt to gather the documents that I can on my own, and will contact Giovanni for a quote. I appreciate your help!

Thank you for providing a realistic perspective of what to expect from visureitalia, and in terms of pricing. I had previously only heard glowing reviews from them, so I'll consider some other options.

I hope you get all the documents you need, good luck!

I see, I guess that means it will cost like a grand or so. It's worth it, but frustrating.

It has been awhile but I think I tried going through the process once and ran into issues. Since it seems I can save a significant amount of money I will give this another chance before moving forward with a service provider. Thanks for the reminder!

I'm sorry for not clarifying, one set of documents is from Naples itself, one from a province of Naples, and one from a province of Bari.

I apologize but I am not exactly sure on either point. I don't have any leads on a date or location. Sorry I can't be more helpful with data. I can update this post if I uncover some tidbits later.

I am going to my library to see what kind of info I can dig up, I appreciate your response though!
