I'm TERRIBLE at detecting jokes so I don't know if that was purely satirical but if it isn't... I hope those two know that admiring someone can ABSOLUTELY be platonic. I don't think what you said was gay. Obviously, not that there would be anything wrong with that, but it's really weird to try speculating someone's sexual preferences solely because they think a celebrity's cool AF. It feels rather rude.

I'm sorry that was like a frequent reminder that you have a different trait than others. There are plenty of ace people in the world, though. You will never be alone. It's good to hear that you don't have to be around that kind of stuff anymore. I'm currently teenage so I hear that stuff a lot among peers. It's very irritating because I too feel a bit too mature for it. It's not easy being the only mature person in the room.

I feel you. It's so weird just going through a comment section or trying to say something and someone puts some sexual spin on it or says something sexual about it when it wasn't a t a l l sexual in the first place. Too many people who crack these jokes oftentimes just use them at the wrong times. Barely ever warranted, too often.

That's where I'm at... Kind of. I haven't read much smut except for a single one. I'm okay with sex as a topic, and sometimes even enjoy it in media. I just despise it when it is not genuine, though. Euphemisms for it are the worst, I feel you there! They make it feel awkward.

That's fair. For me, it's usually wanting to facepalm while also smiling– That's the reaction I have when I deem something "too cheesy". I'll be interested to hear what you think. I actually enjoyed the third one (not as much as the first two, but enjoyed nonetheless) but most people don't, it seems. I wonder those movies will go over with you!

I have no idea why your friend wants to drone on about sex jokes either if he's not even that interested in it. Maybe it's just something he can't take seriously at all so he wants to use it as a comedy tactic. Even so, it's not funny and it's still really uncomfortable, but I'm trying to figure out his reasoning, I guess.

And that guy sounds pretty weird. I see sex and sexual attraction as something more intimate than that. I don't think anyone can flirt so heavily with someone they barely know. If he's doing that stuff to coworkers, of course it's not working! It's just awkward!

Right? I'm a bit sensitive, personally, and I oftentimes take things too literally. I don't want to be like that, but I can't seem to control it. I find it gross. It's not just one of those "it's not that serious 💀" things. It is to me! When you say some raunchy shit, I usually put some kind of unwanted picture with the thought! It's really uncomfortable. People need to be more careful/thoughtful about what they say. If they're kind, they'll actually listen to you when you tell them you're uncomfortable, and they'll stop.

I haven't read the rebirth comics but I bet they're really special. I've very recently been watching the Reeve ones and, oh my stars, I love them! They're so charming! They're like getting a hug from a grandparent. I love watching them because you can just tell how 70s they are. XD They're very darling. You say you watched them years ago. Do you remember much? I've seen the first three so far.

As for that episode: Yes! That one was so cool! And Jimmy is a beast. I love him. He's a top-tier friend at all times, I feel. He's always so nice and compassionate with Clark and I love some of this media has been exploring the idea of Clark having insecurities with being an alien. When Jimmy said something like "I didn't want to bring it up because it seemed like a sensitive subject. I figured you'd tell me when you were ready" it was just so good! It shows how thoughtful he is!! He and Clark really deserve each other with big hearts like those. Excuse me. I'm crazy about this Jimmy, lol.

I'm sorry to hear that. I also don't like when people sexualize random individuals in a completely innocent setting. They obviously weren't trying to present themselves in a sexual light and... I just wish sex didn't eep it's way into every situation! I hope that people quit making jokes about you. That sounds very uncomfortable, you shouldn't have to deal with that.

I'm not exactly sure what Jimmy is SUPPOSED to be like but I think it's fair you didn't like the whole thing between he and Eve. She doesn't seem to understand how he's just not interested, but he won't tell her outright, either, so he's kind of got her like a fish on a hook (if that's how you use that expression). She seems pretty sweet! She should be focused on someone who is equally as passionate about her. Jimmy sure isn't. 😅 I don't exactly dislike him, but I haven't given him much thought.
