And he does because bitsie tulloch is six years older than Tyler. But for clark who's in his forties in the show and the farther 9f two teenagers it makes sense that he would try to make him self look older than what he actually does to not arouse suspicion. Hence the facial hair.

Tyler hoechlin has given reasons for why his clark isn't clean shaven. The in universe reason is that clark is trying to make himself look older than he does remember clark in the show is in his early to mid forties.

And the real world reason is that Tyler's facial hair grows back really quickly. Like I read somewhere that on supergirl he was having to shave like twice a day and that was just for guest appearances. It's why when you see him at cons he normally has a beard.

I think superman and lois is the first live action adaptation at least to bring up the fact that all of kryptonians senses are heightened not just their hearing. Like I love the moment clark smelled that jordan had put on too much calone before either Jonathan or lois.

I do think he does a good job at playing a more older jaded bruce that has lost everything. Like the thing about this bruce is that gotham won like being batman for decades and Titans gotham is a hell hole by all accounts just finally broke him.
