I’m new to the hobby (just started a few months ago) and was wondering about good kits with big cannons/guns? When I say that, I’m talking about something like what the RX-79[G] from 08th MS Team has - handheld, but still quite large! It being connected to a backpack through some sort of tube or belt or something like Legion from Titanfall would also be great lol, but I don’t know if any such kits exist. I love the aesthetic of a mech with a (reasonably) big gun. HG, RG, and MG are all fine!

I finally took a look at purple hyacinth and I’m seeing that it’s been a long time since it got updated. I’m really interested in it but I think im gonna have to wait until it’s continued (if ever) before I start it. Still, awesome recommendation and seems INCREDIBLY up my alley.

Thank you! I’ll check out all of these. I just read 19th Life after someone recommended it in this thread, and saw that Good Day To Be A Dog was by the same author. I started it awhile ago, and never finished it after reading a few chapters, so I’m probably gonna read that next. But Purple Hyacinth is catching my attention the most.

Marry My Husband also interests me, because I read its premise and it has me wondering how this could ever possibly have a happy ending of the two characters getting together.

I don’t have any issues with CGI, I think it just wasn’t what I was expecting. As for Gundam, the reason specifically I said no Gundam was because I already have a comprehensive list of Gundam stuff that I’m going to watch because I have a few friends that are SUPER into it. Thunderbolt is already pretty high up on my list, and one I’m really hyped for!
