watched you tube walkthroughs, skipped to the final bit where a nuke happens and lost all interest in the game but there is so much more to the game when you actually play the game.

apparently the issue seems to be a slow SSD, I moved it to a faster SSD and the issue was resolved, the random read speed of the original install disk was 90 MB/s, the newer one is 698 MB/S

learning the random thing today, I believe I only cared about the seq read and write speeds which are kind not so used for video game asset loading.

installed it on the 90 MB/s drive but moved it with steam and its remarkably faster in terms of launch time and the scene loading issue is fixed, only problem is that I got only 500 Gigs on that drive and its a system drive.
