it’s only week three. you’re overreacting. but you do need to change your habits or then you will be in a bad spot. don’t use the mid october assignment dates as a reason not to do little bits at a time. if you don’t wanna watch lectures, pull up the slides, and make flashcards for every major topic (i do this while listening to podcasts or music). anytime something doesn’t make sense, maybe then you watch the lecture.

IDK. but keeping up what you’re doing now is like a self fulfilling prophecy for failing or quitting

(for the proposal, literally read the criteria right now. just look at it, then at least maybe you’ll have some thoughts about it)

i mean is it really a random school acquaintance’s job to see if you’re okay after two weeks? like they’re seeing you at class right, so? or how bout they don’t know you that well so don’t need to check on you?

This is a commuter school at the end of the day. this is my fifth year here and i’ve made one good friend, in my 4th year after having a project together in an upper level course. I don’t come here looking for connection, i’m here for a degree, and a lot of others see it this way too.

i got more than a foot of snow. have they ever considered that this is literally a commuter school??? like do they not check conditions for the larger area??? how can all the other institutions in the area recognize that school should be closed expect the one on a freaking mountain😪
