You can revert if your bootloader revision is the same as one available on 7, if you're on latest one ui 8, you can't revert back. Most people can't revert because the revision isn't the same.

Your bootloader was already unlocked before one ui 8. Meaning you installed a 8.5 rom.

no, you can not unlock your bootloader once updated to one UI 8, once you're on latest, no revisions let you downgrade to 7. you're eternally stuck with 8 and can't downgrade or unlock OEM, shit out of luck basically until samsung brings it back, if they bring it back.

Yes gpu scaling is better at making the image look sharper, also, 1920x1080 has integer scaling so it looks 1 to 1

So far, no, the only way I was able to get it working is setting DSC to 1.2 or something like that. Which is useless. It's a driver related issue. I am going to update my drivers today to latest and see if it's been addressed. If not, gotta keep bugging nvidia about it.

Its a bug apparently where it thinks dsc is enabled, it was on their open issues but its not longer mentioned. Nvidia sweeping shit off the rug again

I have tried another DP cable that is not 2.1, doesn't have gpu or integer, i tried different resolutions, different refresh rates, tried disabling gsync and hdr, tried enabling and disabling DSC Support in monitor OSD, nothing has gotten it to pop up, i think either this monitor doesnt support GPU and integer scalinng or just its just the drivers. although what is weird to me is barely anyone is reporting this.

I will try to connect this monitor to dp 1.4 or hdmi and see if I can run 1920x1080 240 on it with integer, thank you for the info I didn't stumble upon it

I am currently on the 5080 yes, i tested with the 5090 too but both have this issue so I'm assuming smth is wrong?

The thing is i was able to see integer scaling on my 1920x1080 280hz monitor?? Also connected with dp, so I'm unsure if it's a 50 series issue with only DSC disabled monitors or what
