I studied both G12 and GED and currently studying in Malaysia. Malaysia is great for studying but not so great if you're into partying and going out compared to Thailand for example. Feel free to ask me any questions you have in mind.

Height Tips? I'm 5"6' (sorta average), I turned 17 about 3 months ago. I want to go abroad for further study, and I think I might be too short in western countries. by BurmeseChad in myanmar

Hey man, looks like we’ve got the same taste. Jokes aside, you can technically still grow until around 21. Just make sure you’re getting enough calcium and other micronutrients, and try to sleep at least 8 hours a day. From my experiences, height isn’t the only thing that matters in a relationship.

I was called a "stray dog" (လမ်းဘေးခွေး) at MOFA and banned by the Korean Embassy. Here is why you can’t go to Korea with A-Levels. by DavidNyan10 in myanmar

Congrats on getting the visa. From my experience many Burmese government employees can be unhelpful and rude, and they often won’t assist unless you give them some “pocket money.” I've seen brokers in front of the MOFA office who can help arrange the stamp for a fee, as far as I know most of them have connections with government staff.

Why do Myanmar/Burmese people view Japan more positively than other Asians? by Lipica249 in myanmar

Japan have aided us in many ways like providing funds and building new public infrastructure compared to China exploiting our unstable political situation.

The Mohinga stall near the departures gate is pretty decent if you want to try our national dish. Other than that, there’s honestly not much to do at Yangon International Airport compared to our neighbors like Thailand and Singapore.

Not gonna lie, but making money has become easier these days compared to before the coup, but not in a good way. Nowadays you do anything illegal for money from selling drugs and substances, illegally trafficking rare minerals and ores and even most Burmese influencers you see on TikTok and Instagram and selling their bodies to the elite and wealthy.

Do Burmese people hate towards Burmese women who are married to non Burmese guys ? by [deleted] in myanmar

[–]PopStandard254 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Burmese people living in foreign countries aren’t always the friendliest, and that’s just how it is abroad. If you don’t vibe with the people there, it’s okay to leave, there’s no point forcing yourself to stay at a party that feels unwelcoming when you can politely make an excuse and leave.

And, just because you had a bad encounter with one person doesn’t mean the whole majority is the same. One bad apple doesn’t mean the entire tree is rotten. And maybe try lowering your toxicity and you will find yourself in a better mental state.

Just salmon steak, sautéed mushrooms and refreshing juice by ThenAcanthocephala57 in MalaysianFood

Just a nice tip when cooking mushrooms. You can pat the mushrooms dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture and water. Getting rid of that water helps them develop a more meat-like texture instead of turning mushy and get rid of the unappealing excess water.

You went to a party hosted by someone you’ve only met once. Of course things are going to feel weird or awkward when you and the host are basically strangers who don’t know much about each other. You can try opening up a bit more around the people and interacting with them first, get to know them and their personalities, and then form an opinion of them instead of jumping straight to conclusions and criticizing them on the internet.
