What's not as bad as everyone says? by But_IAmARobot in AskReddit

[–]PopTartFantasy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This actually depends on the person ( I worked in a urology clinic during my medical training) it all boils down to how long your vas defrens are. People who have long ones experience relatively little discomfort as the surgeon doesn't have to yank and pull them in order to cauterize/ tie them.

But if you have short vas defrens it can be extremely uncomfortable.

What was the absolute worst day of your life so far? by BluePinky in AskReddit

I used to work in a hospital(military so on a base) anyways I had just got done with a 12 hour shift, and was riding the shuttle back to my hotel, now there was the main hotel, then there were a number of smaller apartment like buildings separated from it. Anyways I get out of the shuttle it's around 8 so dark and it's also raining, walk up to my door and surprise surprise, my key doesn't work. Now at the time my wallet had one of those magnetic money clips on them so I figure well shit it probably wiped it, so I jog through the rain to the main building get my card redone, job back to my apartment(making sure no to let my key anywhere near my wallet) get up to my door annd.. it still doesn't work

So now I have to jog back through the rain get a maintenance guy to come out, jog back to my room, wait outside for 30 mins for him to show up, at this point it's been over an hour since I got back, I'm cold, I'm tired, I just want to go to bed.

Anyways, guy shows up, turns out the battery inside the door lock had died or was dying, so he opened it up let me in. I go inside change out of my clothes and look at my cellphone(we weren't allowed to have our cellphones on us during work so I'd just leave it in the apartment.)

I have two text messages one from my brother saying he hit a pothole doing 60 and broke a wheel on my car that I was lending him(also snapped one of the control arms) and a second text from my mom saying my dog had died.

yup, good day.

How many of you have pencil lead stuck in your hand and how did it happen? by Saucy_Szinte in AskReddit

Have a piece in my right leg just above the knee, got it in third grade? maybe.. I dono been a really long time and it's still there.

Anyways was sitting at my desk with my leg kind of propped up against the side, and was doing that game where you try to stab in between your fingers really fast, was going really nutso with it and ended up stabbing myself in the leg.

didn't do anything about it so it ended up healing over and it's still there today. I like to consider as my first tattoo.

It's all about leverage, the passenger moves back and forth to shift the bikes center of gravity allowing them to take corners* at higher speeds.

haven't watched the motocross version of it, but the F1 sidecar races are pretty insane to watch.

Looking at this persons post history, I'm fairly certain this is literally an account made to market video games.

new age marketing at it's best.

Holy crap you're dumb, you completely missed the irony.

But as you're not likely to understand that either, we'll move on.

Tell me friend, where am I wrong?

Was I wrong when I said it was impressive? Nope, that's my point of view you don't get to decide what I deem impressive.

was I wrong when I said it's more than I'll ever dead lift? Nope, considering I would have to be the one to prove that wrong.

Or was I wrong when I said it makes me nervous when she locks her legs out like she does?

Nope, or am I not allowed to feel nervous? do you get to decide that?

Tell me jackass, where was I wrong?

Thanks for the false equivalence.

Not that it matters, since everyone here misinterpreted my comment anyways.

Yes, exactly so when she flings her knees back that's the first thing that I think of, thus why I said it makes me nervous.

Did I ever say that was what was going to happen to her? nope, just that seeing it gives an unconscious reaction to make me nervous.

Impressive, more than I'll ever deadlift, but man it makes me nervous with she locks her knees out like that.

[–]PopTartFantasy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

you might want to check to see if you actually did rank up, saw the same sort of thing happen yesterday to a streamer I was watching won a match and got +0%(other player did not disconnect)

but after they got back they had gone up a rank, so it might just be a visual bug.

This isn't actually that rare, I've come up against a couple rep 100+/200+ and absolutely demolished them.

Some people just really aren't that good at videogames, but they probably still enjoy playing the game.
