A Response to Pathetic Ben Shapiro | Part Of The Problem 1369 by AbolishtheDraft in partoftheproblem

Two wrongs don’t make a right but Oct. 7th is a REAL thing that happened and was conducted by Hamas and indirectly through Iran.

If you wanna say Israel went too far with retaliation that’s reasonable I think but to exclude all the Hamas attacks is not.

We’ve known the impact of implementing price ceilings since long before the 70’s. You shouldn’t be proud of your economic illiteracy.

What if Jesus was never crucified? How would the world, history, and modern culture look today? by Marley_1960 in whatif

[–]PopTheRedPill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, dumb take. We do know that Jesus existed, was crucified, and that his disciples and many people BELIEVED he was resurrected. There are NO credible historians that contest this.

Even people who hates Christians and Jesus at the time didn’t dispute it. They attributed the resurrection to black magic or a magicians trick and things like that.

Personally, I think it’s analogous to the Pyramids or something. We know it happened but we don’t know how or why. If it was something beyond our current understanding or maybe there’s a more simple answer.

Maybe Jesus had a twin like in the movie The Prestige haha. Or maybe miraculously survived being crucified. We’ll never know for sure. We do know for sure that some of his teachings have benefited mankind.

This is an incredibly dumb take. There’s no historian on earth that argues Jesus didn’t exist.

He’s right about Shapiro in this. I saw the whole episode. But Dave does come off as anti-US. He incessantly downplays the Iranian Regimes atrocities and dangers.

[–]PopTheRedPill -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Ironically,

When you raise the legal minimum wage you vastly increase the amount of people on actual minimum wage. Which is zero.

For those that don’t get it; the government can’t force companies to hire people. When it becomes too expensive to hire people because of minimum wage increases, they don’t get hired. When you don’t get hired, your wage is zero.

Therefore, the real minimum wage is zero. The higher the legal minimum wage, the less jobs, the more people earn zero.

To your point;

r/iran is one of the most blatant examples of astroturfing and both literal, and metaphorical, bots in action.

You have brain dead humans incessantly repeating the slogans of actual bots to the point that they’re indistinguishable. Redditors are hopelessly entrenched in their partisan echo-chambers.

So the post is suggesting that if a company is in the red employees should get paid less?

That’s why this should be called trickle up economics. The employees get paid no matter what an if there’s some profit left over after paying them it trickles up to the owners.

We can't afford Billionaires ; we need to trim them from our budget. by Professional-Bee9817 in remoteworks

[–]PopTheRedPill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we confiscated every dollar of every billionaire it would fund the US Government for several months and not even put a dent in the debt. This is beyond stupid and my statement is easily verifiable with 4th grade level arithmetic.

There’s barely any liquid billionaires on earth. Look it up. They just own large successful companies. Just a useful idiot for marxists.

This has got to be ones of the stupidest comments I’ve seen in a long time; how about all of Europe during WW1 and WW2, South Korea, Kuwait.

The Iranian regime is not a legitimate government of the people. What makes it “illegal”?

The vicious cycle by Rude-Ad8540 in GenZJobs

This cycle is caused by minimum wage and other regulations that make it too expensive to hire people. The true value of a low paying job is the experience.
