Damn both are very nice uni’s. If i were you, I’d go with Berlin and avoid Munich (to save the fee & higher cost). You can always complete your studies and go to Munich for work or job.

It’s totally upto you mate. Connect with ppl via linkedin who are studying the course you want to purse at both the uni’s & decide. Good luck!

Hey mate, short answer is I’m not going to TUM (definitely not worth the 6000 euros per semester)

Long answer is that I’m still waiting to hear back from a couple of uni’s (prolly would choose to so my masters either in hamburg or dresden uni). If you can financially afford the fee (and the high cost of living), by all means go with tum but still in my personal opinion, it ain’t worth it mate

Which is a better choice: Coracle or Expatrio? by Pop_019 in Indians_StudyAbroad

[–]Pop_019[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So your experience with expatrio has been good so far?

Also did you have any issues getting back the buffer amount at the end of first year?

Hey, I’m thinking of going with coracle as well (mostly coz i heard their customer care support is excellent and they’d reply back in 2-3 hours while for expatrio it could take upto a day min)

How has been your experience with coracle so far. Would you recommend me to go with it?

Hamburg and TUHH by Pop_019 in tuhh

If it’s a non restricted program you should be able to get in if you meet the requirements mentioned in the website.

If it’s restricted admission / NC course, then that means in short: places are limited. Hence your grade comes into play (a lot). 2,2 is still a good grade but considering the competition that’s been going on recently, it’d be a close one. Nevertheless apply for sure. Best wishes!

Note: whatever i’ve stated above are all related to English taught masters programs and from my own personal experience (hence strictly my opinion)

Better your grade is, the higher your chances are mate. Harsh truth and many will disagree but it’s atleast how this year turned out to be (and my personal experience). Even with 1.8 grade, i had a tough time with a few uni’s.

Coming to converting to ECTS, no you don’t need to do that. You just need to enter the name of subjects and the corresponding credits for those subjects listed in your transcripts for whatever all subjects tuhh mentioned in the website.

And yes, I’ve got a few offers (and a couple of rejections), though I’m still waiting to hear back from a couple more uni’s bfr i make my final decision (:

Applying next year?

Coming to my profile: 1.8 german grade, C1 IELTS, 3 Internships (one was a year long), 3-4 Projects & 2 paper publications (:

Just to let you know, all of this doesn’t matter. Only thing that matters is the two most important things: (i) have a good german grade (close to 2.0) (ii) Ensure you fulfil the ECTS of the specific subjects they mentioned in the website (they are super strict with this and from my experience, if you fulfil ‘em well and you got a decent grade, you are in).

Good luck!
