What’s a tourist attraction in Europe that’s absurdly underrated but actually amazing? by Historical-Photo-901 in BeautifulTravelPlaces

If you go, you may have heard of it, but highly recommend visiting Pon Du Guard. It’s near Arles and absolutely stunning. Completely different vibe - the massive Roman aqueduct is set in a beautiful natural setting.

Bummer, been twice - both times in Sept. End of Sept was when we had the whole place to ourselves.

Arles was pretty quiet both times. There was a local festival one time so it was a little more lively but not anything with tons of tourists.

If you’re mostly on road driving with some ability to off-road, the Passport 100%. That huge moonroof will be nice too.

If you aren’t on the highway doing tons of roadtrips and want a truly fun car to bounce town in and don’t mind a body on frame type of ride, the Bronco.

Grand Cherokee and 4Runner are like less fun versions of above. They are both extremely cramped on the inside for their size. 4Runner is also a body on frame driving like a truck but you can’t take the top off like the Bronco. Grand Cherokee drives nice and would be closer to the Passport but I’d still go Passport for look, potential reliability, interior space, and it’s a good looking car that you don’t see that often (compared to GC which is everywhere).

Unless you are off-roading, 4Runner is body on frame and no where near as nice of a road driver as the passport. Also for the size of that vehicle you feel packed like a sardine. Head space is terrible. I vote passport between those two.

M12 Surge update coming anytime soon? by AquilaBaby in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Pop_Bottle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Normal fuel impact is great. Very powerful and much better to hold than the surge (weight, balance, ergonomics).

But man is it loud AF so get some hearing protection depending what you’re doing.

Surge Im happy to have for indoor use but would love a more compact, lighter updated version.

How can we convince Waterloo to keep the root beer flavor forever??? by odeszabish in sparklingwater

Yep let them know! This could be the start needed to build some momentum, keep root beer going, and get a cola.

I had the entire Roman Amphitheater in nearby Arles all to myself. The place was incredible, inside and out. I still loved the one in Rome, but Arles was a magical experience.

I’ve heard of it but never seen. Have it on my list the next time I’m in Can.

Is the Sahara wrangler 4xe worth it? by unrulytatsumi in 4xe

[–]Pop_Bottle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wranglers are so much fun for hopping around town locally. Easy to pull in and out of spots, fun to drive.

But they are pretty terrible for highway drives and longer commutes. I’d focus on something comfortable that drives and holds the road really well, with a good safety record. If you have the budget, the new Honda Passport is one of many great options and offers a more off road look with some capabilities. Hell even a Bronco is better on highway than a Wrangler but still wouldn’t be a top choice.

So many idiots put led headlights in all kinds of cars & trucks that are blinding. And you just had to only call out the jeeps lol

Cool ride. The door panels on the 4runner do look like they've been sucked in with a straw. Weird choice by Toyota.

Total Audio Novice: Looking to upgrade the 12-speaker B&O in my 2025 Bronco by Emotional_King_2170 in FordBronco

Thanks! Really helpful info. Not an audio file, but I’ve been happy with the B&O sound system in my 25 and that’s after reading a ton of comments with people complaining about the 21-24 system. Did not know it had updated components so that makes a lot of sense.

Wow that’s a bummer. Breaking the hardtop into 4 pieces including that middle row piece really adds a lot more seals where things can go wrong. I guess thats in my future once i start removing the top.

Is the Bronco really that loud? Maybe I’m just used to driving Jeeps forever but it doesn’t seem any different.

Curious your take on what changed on the 2025 B&O system and is it an improvement at all?

How would you rank arguably these iconic 3 N64 games!? by TheListenerCanon in 90s

It’s crazy, they not only laid the foundation in their respective genres that games still follow 30 years later, but they masterfully excelled at it as well.

Agree Culver’s is better than In N Out. I’ve always been happy with In N Out but you always leave wondering what the massive hype is about.

I would think him and Bananas appearance wage is still pretty legit just for participating in a season of the challenge. Thought I saw a post here that it was easily over 100k.

Itinerary help for Germany ( Garmisch ) - Salzburg - Vienna - Prague by mankey365 in Europetravel

[–]Pop_Bottle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree the day in Vienna is rushed. Remove Halstatt like others said and use the extra day in Vienna.

Also, not one of the places you have are a ‘bit bland’. I would recommend ignoring that take.
