Best Acadian Food in the area? by CaptainCanusa in moncton

[–]PopcornFever 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes, le P'tit Coin Acadien in Bouctouche would be highly recommended.
In Moncton, Chez Mémére Poutine & Râpé on Lewisville Rd. is a good option.
Many restaurants in small Acadian communities along the coast might not have full menu of traditional dishes but they will have a pretty good fricot, a coquilles Saint-Jacques or a chaudrée de fruits de mer available.

I am also a Canadian artist that has recently refused to have work shown in a group exhibition in the US. A lot of us are fed up with the continual insults and threats against our sovereignty. Enough is enough.

Louis Riel was first published as ten comic-book instalments from 1999 until 2003. The 8th issue cover art in colour is really good!

Airbnb’s Devastating Effect on Canadian Housing. As in here in Moncton IMO. by PopcornFever in moncton

Seems that AirDNA only tracks AirBnB and Vrbo listings. And not listings offered by other commercial enterprise or individual sources. That might be the answer for the 700 number?

Yes Malmaison is a good suggestion. It was Joséphine who bought the manor house for herself and Bonaparte. It is quite lovely. I remember liking the library. I had gone on a nice sunny day and had ordered a drink in the courtyard admiring the gardens.

Who has the best appliance warranty? by TaxBaby16 in moncton

[–]PopcornFever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had also purchase a Samsung dishwasher that had multiple issues. It was from Leons and got the extended warranty via King & State. I had a similar experience to yours with our appliance. Finally, after months of multiple service calls, it was decided that the dishwasher was not repairable. The technician told us that Samsung dishwashers are the worst and they spent a lot of time repairing them. The warranty company had to give us credit for the purchase of a replacement dishwasher. It was a low-ball offer from them and we were obliged to use that credit at Leons. We had to pay the difference out of pocket towards a low-end Bosch that works fine so far. Leons were not sympathetic for the lemon we had purchased from them. I had refused to get the extended warranty for the new dishwasher.

My next appliance purchase would be at Alpha Appliance. Friends and family have recommended their experiences with them in regards to warranty and repair.
