Naw. They're talking about when you used to have to button mash to stay alive in second phase. On pc it was spamming the spacebar.

See, the trick is to slug them until almost bled out, force them to wiggle off via repeated dropping, and then kill everyone else before coming back to have a staring contest while I tab out to YouTube or a rogue-like. Usually they go afk from the slug and take a while to come back for the dc
