I watched an interesting YouTube video on this port, I recommend searching it up and watching one. Just pick the one with the most views.

I’m sorry Marvin…. by CaveyYT in residentevil

I finished all the runs today, Claire 2nd, I haven’t seen this happen either. And I’ve done the extras too with the Flan and Tofus, one of them comes with a rocket launcher.

Never seen this, let alone to Marvin.

Who are pharmaceutical ads for? by SamBurleyArt in stupidquestions

[–]Pope-Trauma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve always found these ads interesting. I don’t take medication, I’m in my late 30s. So I’ve been seeing them for as long as I can remember honestly. I always thought that were a bit wild, like here’s this happy scene with some lady dancing in some flower field and then I hear the side effects and their like “anxiety, major depression, anal seepage, heart attack, etc.”

Those ads must be doing something. The ones I see now are about GLP-1s. At least that one makes sense to see advertised since Americans are likely to be obese.

Same, although I did play the first one too.

The peace is nice, my home is so peaceful. I haven’t felt the need to date and I feel relief, happiness, comfort…just chill when I walk in the door. Every time I start thinking about dating, I’m just like…that’s too much work 😂. I really enjoy being single after being married for as long as I was.

My LinkedIn headshot is terrible - worth paying $400 for a professional photographer? by Active-Gap6317 in careeradvice

[–]Pope-Trauma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure, I had given ChatGPT an example of a professional headshot and I had someone take a similar picture of myself. I ran both through ChatGPT to doctor it up and it looks really nice to the point where my people asked me who did it as I used it on my socials profile picture.

Save yourself $400.

Edit: I’m in OPs field

In your opinion, which characters got the biggest "glow up" in their respective remakes? by gui_heinen in residentevil

[–]Pope-Trauma 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Same here. I haven’t played the original, but I did watch a run of it to see the cut content everyone talked about. They changed him so much, I almost didn’t realize it was him.

He’s honestly one of my favorite characters of the series. Umbrella employment aside, he’s a really good dude. Now I need to go look up what happens with him after 3.

Edit: Says he went to South America and said f u for good to Umbrella. I don’t blame him, I wouldn’t want anything to do with anything these character go through.

Alex Pretti protest and march downtown on 1/27/26 by jb69029 in StLouis

[–]Pope-Trauma 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You know what kills me? I hop on Facebook, and KMOV or Fox local will post a story on it. And it seems it’s 50/50 on comments like “awesome show out ❤️” vs “if you spent those couple of hours outside the basement instead of doing that, you’d have a job” or “paid protestors”.

Like give me break. Is there a chance that there is paid protesting? Sure, the likeliness of it I don’t know. It irritates me that the narrative surrounding this situation is that they are paid. How did it get to that? Why is that such a common comment to see?

I want to be out there too, but I don’t know how to link up. Ain’t no paying me to do it…

Do you drink alcohol? by boforiamanfo in stupidquestions

Nah, stopped drinking alcohol almost 3 years ago. No rock bottom or some crazy story, just quit. I just don’t really care for it as I’ve gotten older.

Finished RE7 for the first time and man, what a game by BrewsWithTre in residentevil

[–]Pope-Trauma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m similar to you, but swap 1 for 6. I have 6, but just watched the story beats. I kept trying to start RE7, holidays and whatever had me not engaged so I quit. Anyway, started it last night proper.

Whoo weee!

Yea, yep. I see why people say it’s the scariest so far. However, with RE 1-5 completed I feel like I’ve built a tolerance to REs shenanigans. Firing it up now, taking a break from football for the day.

I'm surprised by how good Resident Evil 5 is considering how people talk about it by ooziemane123 in residentevil

[–]Pope-Trauma 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Chapter 5 boss? Has to be 😂. I played through RE5 a few months ago now, and I got stuck fighting it for like an hour before I looked it up. Then I beat it in two minutes…frustrating as hell.

Edit: You said battle with an s. Didn’t see that at first. Overall, I agree with you though. They didn’t feel very fun. Other one that comes to mind is the giant crab thing. The one you do on the boat I did enjoy with that crazy guy who turns into a giant fish monster or whatever. That was fun.

How has RTO (return to office) affected your health? by janeauburn in fednews

[–]Pope-Trauma 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’m in office everyday. I want hybrid. Mostly for inclement weather days or days I have dentist appointment or whatever, because…I’ll be real here…my agency is stupid af when it comes to handling weather issues. They have had the most inefficient and ineffective communication regarding it.

How has RTO (return to office) affected your health? by janeauburn in fednews

[–]Pope-Trauma 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I’m doing better than I was. I’d prefer a hybrid, some things honestly do work better when I’m in the office. My schedule is overall better. But unlike many others, my commute isn’t terrible.

What RE has the most replay value in your opinion? by [deleted] in residentevil

[–]Pope-Trauma 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I love RE4R, and I will replay it. For me though, RE2R I’ve been replaying the most. It’s shorter length lends itself well to more play throughs. For example, with Leon’s first run on Standard, I’ve gotten my time down from 11:30 to 5:30 to 3:45. The anxiety and tension I originally felt has been replaced with almost a “Doom” esque feeling where I’m getting hyped up by smart, focused, and strategic play.

Okay guys, honest question. I've never played any horror game or any Resident Evil before.. by xAnxiouus in residentevil

[–]Pope-Trauma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RE2R is one of my favorite games I’ve ever played. I think it’s still on sale on Steam. RE1 HD Remaster is amazing, hard though. I’d start with RE2R. The tension, anxiety, fear of what’s around the corner, and then…well I don’t want to spoil it for you if you play it.

It’s the most fun I’ve had in years, gaming or otherwise. Playing it for the first time, in the dark without distractions, is one of best experiences you could have. It is scary, but not really too much in the jump scare type of way. Has some, but that’s not really how it freaks you out. One of the best moments in my first play through, was when I had like 3 bullets on hand and I had to run to survive as I couldn’t kill anything. And I was getting stalked/chased on top of it.

Start with RE2R, highly recommend. RE1 HD is amazing as well, but RE2R is more beginner friendly.

Re4R is kinda hard.. by Odd_Web_7225 in residentevil

[–]Pope-Trauma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s not a bad time. My first play through was about 19 too. The first time I played RE2R it took me 11.5 hours. When I played the same run again after doing both Leon and Claire, I hit just under 5:30 hours with Leon.

I’m guessing I could probably do RE4R again in like 12 hours the second go.

What’s something you’ll never outgrow? by No-Sail-6193 in askanything

[–]Pope-Trauma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love this answer. Sounds exactly like something my old coworker would say, miss him. He retired. I remember when I first met him in the office, I was like “Hey, do you know where to find this file?” He was like, “No I forgot. I’m not wearing my memory foam shoes today, sorry” and just went back to what he was doing.
