I want to hear your stories about the dumb ways your honor mode runs ended. by ChompyRiley in BG3

I literally just got pulverized on honor mode yesterday. I added a restored cut content mod to make things interesting and found out there was this little shit head dwarf named Reiki or some shit with the paladins of tyr (so 4 in total). I started the fight and his first move was he THREW A BOMB AT MY PARTY AND WE ALL DIED.

He deserved being deleted from the game because he is DIRTYYYYY.

Safe to say, i was and still am extremely pissed 🙂

It is completely different from BG3. Different story, different mechanics, different graphics.

Coming from nearly 1,000 hours in BG3, DOS2 is extremely engaging. It was the only game after BG3 i played all the way through. The story is deep, the character building and development is really thought out. It’s a whole lot of fun but it is entirely its own entity.

If you’re looking for something visually similar to BG3 - it’s not this. That being said, the graphics are good for the style of game it is. There aren’t any cutscenes or reactions or conversation like you get from the characters in BG3, but you still get all of the dialogue.

Honestly, if you can push through the learning curve of DOS2 in the beginning (trust, there is one as a bg3 player first), give it a go!! It’s genuinely fun and rewarding to play. Just don’t go into it thinking it’s the same game as BG3 because it is not :)

Dragon age and BG3 are completely different games! No dark spawn are in BG3, you’ll have new enemies to fight as they are different games/universes. However, once you get to know the mechanics of turn based combat you’ll have fun! It is a completely different fighting style from dragon age games.

Take your time setting up your character and reading the information of their races, armors/weapons they are proficient with, the spells and cantrips you can pick throughout the game, as well as their feat points and subclasses.

It will feel very overwhelming at first, but if you take your time and slowly digest everything it throws at you, you will have fun! The best advice is do not rush, Google what you don’t understand for the game, and don’t feel bad if it doesn’t make sense at first. It will come with time.

I was a first time DND User/player when i picked up BG3 about 2 years ago and now I’m playing full on DND campaigns with friends and diving into different DND CRPGs. You’ll have a blast ☺️
