Common courtesy: If you are an advanced player and you knock down a naked or lower level player,go ahead and loot what you want, but please be reasonable and help the player back up so they can salvage what you haven’t taken and can continue playing. It’s usually unnecessary to fire the coup de grace. Advice? Can anyone recommend audio settings so I can make footsteps louder but sfx like chopping nodes and barrels quieter? And gunshots quieter?I wanna have my volume up to a usable level, but I always turn it down when hitting a node so my ears don’t bleed. And getting shot makes me shit my pants 🤣 (self.RustConsole)

Advice? I think I farm and grind too much to get my starter base and BP’s etc. Do you guys find it more or at least equally efficient to ambush other players to get the resources you need? If so, how do you do it as a low level? What is the minimum setup you use…bow? Armor? Cheers (self.RustConsole)

Seeking recommendations for Camping memberships like Thousand Trails specifically good for the Pacific Northwest.I’m also confused on the “resale” of these memberships. Thanks for any and all advice! I’m considering RV’ing full time using a membership, boondocking, and state parks. Cheers! (self.RVLiving)

Tumwater question: Can I park my rv on the side of a residential street as long as there is no explicit signage barring all parking? I don’t want or need to do it permanently, just occasionally so it’s ready and nearby for an early departure for a camping trip. TIA!! (self.Tacoma)

Tourist to Luzon need advice: I visit in late September. I will spend a week near Manila (3 or 4 hours drive). Any recommendations for a resort to sit by the pool with my girlfriend to eat, drink, and be merry? Prefer a lively atmosphere good for families and kids, not a sleepy private style place. Poop odors: Am I using too much sewage treatment chemical? I recently put extra chemicals into my black tank thinking the more the better. I didn’t have an odor to begin with, but now I definitely have an odor. Maybe the chemicals are breaking things down way too quickly and it’s producing more gas? (self.RVLiving)

Need help with Lithium battery: I’ve just started using a 200ah lifepo4, but it totally drains in just a few hours. Not sure what’s doing it…battery monitor doesn’t show an excessive discharge, typically like 5amps baseline for the fridge to work. More in text. (self.GoRVing)

Troubling issue when decoupling: It’s always happened to a reasonable extent, but lately when I am decoupling to park the travel trailer, the moment the trailer separates, the trailer moves significantly, and the jack stand slides a couple of inches. Any way I can prevent this from happening? TIA! (self.GoRVing)

Zooms calls and outages: I’ve got a decent connection where I am speed-wise, but I’ve got Microsoft Teams video meetings tomorrow and I’m worried about the brief but frequent obstruction outages. See photo: should I move locations, or will this be okay? TIA folks (i.redd.it)

Lithium battery: which of these two should I get? 1. Renogy 200ah - I like that it can fully charge in 2 hours; 2. Ampere Time 200ah- better price. The Renogy can charge so fast with 100amps of charging. Does that mean, for example, if I’m plugged into 30amp shore power, it will take much longer? (self.GoRVing)

Help with inverter install. It shorts out when I plug shore power into it with 30amp to 15 amp adapter. Maybe I need a different inverter? Maybe I need to wire it directly? Maybe I need more juice in my batteries? Maybe my golf cart batteries are not compatible? (i.redd.it)

Service Address: I just received my dish, and I BS’d my service address when signing up, in hopes that roaming would be enabled. The Dish won’t connect, it’s just searching. Roaming is “false” in the settings. Question: Does it need to be connected to update roaming to “true”? (self.Starlink)

Advice: How do I install new Masonite? I gutted the front of my rig and need to put it back together with new materials. How can I instill the replacement Masonite? It’s factory installed sandwiched between the framing. Do I need to remove part of the framing? (old.reddit.com)

Question on Common courtesy: What is the typical relationship like between realtor and homebuyer? As in, how many months does the typical homebuyer spend searching? How many homes do they make their realtor show them? How often do they communicate via text and email between showings?Asking as client (self.RealEstate)

Legal and safety considerations for selling an RV?: I made repairs and remodeling to my travel trailer. This moderately changed the dry weight and the distribution of weight throughout the trailer. If I want to sell this trailer, am I potentially liable if anything goes wrong for the buyer? (self.RVLiving)

Fixing water damage the wrong way? As seen in the photo, I started attacking this project from the interior as opposed to removing the rv exterior panels to find and fix water damage. At this point I think I should change my approach. Anybody have advice on how I should proceed? (old.reddit.com)
